  1. G’day, Yes thank you for the links. I did manage to find that info before posting here, but I’m still after a little more in depth knowledge before I start blazing my own trail. I would be interested if anyone is a member of one of the many car clubs in SA. If that car club is recognised by Service SA, if they can do historic rego checks, how much it costs to do both, the historic check, & be part of the car club & of course if the car club is inclusive of JDM cars & active. Also if there are any other hurdles in the process that aren’t glaringly obvious, & what the saving is between normal rego & historic rego annual fees. I know I can just start randomly dialling car clubs & emailing Service SA, but thought I’d ask SAU SA for assistance first, to try & get a head start. Much appreciated, Lance.
  2. Hi Everyone, I know it’s a long shot on these old forums….. but I’m looking at applying for a historic rego this year & wondering if anyone has info on this topic, or maybe even first hand experience? One hurdle would be belonging to a car club & I’m guessing that SA SAU is no longer operating. If not, what would be a good car club that is recognised by Service SA. oh yeah it’s for a 1995 R33 GTR. Cheers, Lance

  9. Hi Guys & Gals, awesome day & as usual well run & organised, so big up's to those dedicated few that donated their time. Personally I think that was the best Texi yet as I'm sure no one could complain about a shortage of time on the skid pan! Definately most fun I've had learning to do heli's I've owned my car for 5 years & love that I can still continue to push the boundary's of both my ability & the car's ability. Bring on the next Texi.
  10. Sweet, looking forward to it!
  11. Gonna do my usual rock up on the day & join in. How many spots are left?
