It's not really fair to compare an GT-R to a GTiR. One is very much the flagship for Nissan and has much more solid performance across the range. The GTiR seemed to be coarser to me but still quite zippy but nothing like the torrent of power and acceleration that the GT-R is... T.

I think it's just plain silver. The light must be funny that day, no flash, I'm a pro I am server/network/SAP monkey. Let's just say that it's a VERY conservative 220kW at the flywheel. I run 0.8 bar usually and never try to jack the power full on unless the road is perfectly flat and the car is die straight. I've had too many hairy incidents with full power on in corners... T.
