hey all, weird i know, but are there r33 clusters that have the speedo in miles? even though the speeds in this country read in km's, it still confuses my head... don't ask. thanks.
-
man, got the head unit in, all good but when doing it i noticed some bodgy wiring etc so today ive taken the dash panels out, to have a peek whoever wired this car up is a moron, twist and tie no solder, half the leccy tape has fallen out etc, im amazed the car hasn't caught on fire and blown up its not french i guess but these are ignition wiring etc (turbo timer)... not wires you want to have shorting

i did use a test light. well, i used the 12V ign for the headunit, so the headunit became a test light

speaking of changing decks as my car came with no head unit, i just put one in all good, only thing is that doesn't work is the aerial plug - it is too big for the headunit it is a japanese headunit (addzest/clarion minidisk unit) and a japanese imported car however i think the previous owner cut the old aerial wire, and soldered in an aus spec one. i know you can get jap > aust aerial adaptors but can you get aus > jap? or does anyone have a jap aerial ending plug they want to give/sell me... i change cars so much because i can't find a good one (cept the 205, was a gti, was a stupidly awesome car, but had to let her go to a friend for the greater good) i have a 405 mi16 as well, i have had this car for 3 and aa half years, best car i've owned so far, will probably never sell it i think i will keep this skyline for a while. i was originally going to get a bugeye STi (as i used to have an RS liberty and it was the only car i regret selling), but that's money that could be spent on house deposits.

hey all just wondering a) where is the best place to get a standard r33 front bar b) is there a difference between the s1 and s2 front bars, and which looks better and c) is there a workshop where i can rock up, give them the new oem bar, get them to cut out the hole for the intercooler, paint the bar then pop rivet an aluminium scuff plate to the bottom of it? it drags on gravel a bit, due to the incline of my works carpark.
-
yes i have read that it does not list the illumination wire the stock loom does not have one (i guess), so i'm trying to source one, as my butchered loom has lots of not stick wire colours,

this years been pretty hectic. sold the rx7 28th dec 08, got the commodore, sold the commodore, got the 205. sold the 205, sold the 406, got the skyline... its only been a month

hey gus, friends of mine just got married, they had a dyson on the wedding register for $799... how much can you get that model for? or is there more than one model at that price? thats myer price
-
Hi all, installing a headunit into my car, the wiring loom has been badly butchered, so time to sort out the mess. exactly what colour should the 12V illumination wire be? car is a '93 R33 GTS-T thanks.
-
hey all, just bought an r33 gts-t, all good. the turbo timer however, is very eager, it likes to count down and cut the ignition whenever it feels like ie) when im trying to drive. pretty dangerous. it's a blitz japanese writing something-or-rather, can i disable it simply by unplugging the loom that goes into the back of it, or do i need to get down and dirty with a soldering iron?
-
these plastic jap skyline thingys are alot more fun to drive than i thought they'd be
