I was with NRMA with my first turbo car a vl turbo and when the worst happened. I crashed the nrma inspector went and looked at the car and said because i had a frontmount intercooler they wouldnt pay to the repairer so after weekes of waiting i went to see how my car was going and nothing had happened. Then the repairer informed me of the hold up i rung NRMA to find them trying to back out of repairing it even when i had the paperwork at home with intercooler listed in the mods. In the end they fixed it but took more then 2 months to get repaired. SO In the end they might be cheaper but you will get f**ked round by them. But Just Cars was great after a tool ran into the back of my 34 and wouldnt answer his phone or call me back. They gave the green ligh to the repairer and even with a month wait for parts was fixed faster.

Exhaust gas expands as it becomes cooler??????? haha other way round.

Ok to anyone else interested i solved my problem by ripping the fuse for the tcs unit out under the bonnet with no problems no warning lights other then the slip light

Its also a remote starter which is kinda cool. plus my car is never left anywere Its locked up in a shed all week. Im ether driving it or 5 mins away from it or its locked up.

I know this is an old topic but saves posting a new one. So has anyone got any info on a Starbo RS 601 turbo timer/ remote starter? Spec; Instruction manual; how to program; Even the translation of the jap words on the back of the timer would be good I found the unit under my dash last night and then found the remote in the glove box under the manual after owning the car for 15 months and it works but i would like to know more

By pulling the blade out will it f**k anything else up when the traction control is trying to work ?

Hi ive been having troubles with my tcs the switch doesnt turn it off. The little gadget i bought off dan 666 didnt help me. Now the slip light works. The abs light works when i turn the ignition on and turns off after a few seconds. Ive had 2 other people check the wiring on the gadget i bought off dan and which computer in the boot its hooked to so i can rule out wiring in up wrong. Can anyone help me out???

I recently bought a 1999 34 gtt and cant work out how to turn the traction control off. The traction control switch just doesnt seem to do anything. It like the switch is spring loaded to stay on. Can anyone help ? Im also trying to get hold of a owners manual if anyone can help with that. Thanks Adam
