  1. Tru tru what kind of coilovers you running? Im not all about drags. Would be interested in a bit of circuit racing to. Would be doing more drag racing than Track / Circuit Racing though. Just really want something that a very good all round compromise for drag, track, and everyday street driving.
  2. Dont know aye thats the first ive heard. I dont know how it would work as the stock ecu doesnt have any way of measuring actual boost does it? Feel Free to correct me if im wrong please as Im not 100% sure.
  3. Hahaha thats good aye. Ive heard good things about ohlins but they cost a mint and also ive noticed apart from the teins most japanese suspension have quite hard springs. Lol yeah the gate is a odd one aye. Need to get a electronic boost controller though as it has a 0.8 bar spring but most of the time my car runs 9 psi. I think 0.8 bar is 11 psi and it only sometimes runs that and if so its usually in 3rd gear onwards and mostly on cold nights lol. But the car still amazes many people for something that runs 9 psi. Dicked a lot of good cars which people had done quite a bit to which is why I dont regret buying the R33 lol. Some of them need to learn to drive though hahaha.

  8. So you guys reakon dont get any kind of adjustable coil overs, and keep factory suspension? Are After market shocks and with some after market springs to match preferred over say bc golds or tein super streets in a drag / street setup situation? When I bought the car it already had some RS-R springs installed in it which I must admit im not to happy with as they are very uncomfortable and bouncy and I have 255 tires on the rear but still lose alot of traction at times. Has gotten a bit better since I started buying better tires. But still feel it could be improved on.

  10. So what is considred soft and what is considred hard? I ask because I got offered some tein super streets for a good price. Does any one have much to say about these? I have seen a couple of threads about pineapples and will be aquiring some of them definatly. Car also has a Brand new Excedy Sports Tuff Button Clutch In It. So hopefully shouldnt have to worry about a new clutch. And yeah i think you can user Z32 AFM with SAFC2. I believe you play with the IN/Out Numbers on the SAFC2. In being the number that represents the z32 afm on the wiring diagram and Out being the Number that represents the Skyline ECU? Correct me if im wrong please as you cant believe everything you read these days lol.
  11. Sweet as I will take a picture when I get home from work tonight of the external wastegate setup and post it. Sweet will get everything tunned once I have got it installed. Im glad I posted on here as there seems to be all sorts of mixed responses. Some say that 230 is achievable with safc2 and highflow using stock injectors and afm and some say it isnt. Keep the ideas coming in. Im open to any suggestions. Tryna not spend to much money either. Got about 5k to play with.
  12. I bought the car like that aye. Its been mounted on the exausht housing of the turbo itself. Screams like a Dinosaur lol. Seen as I got given the safc 2 as a hand me down I think I will try make the most of it. If I can use that to make 230kw with a highflow turbo then theres no need to get a power fc is there? I understand and know power fc is far better but just dont have the funds to buy one just yet. I probably gonna get given a sitc soon to if thats any help?

  15. Hey all Since ive lost my licence for 6 months ive decided to start modding my 1996 R33 gts25t a bit more. Current Mods are: 3 Inch Exausht from Turbo Apexi Pod Filter Front Mount intercooler Aftermarket Radiator 38mm Tial Wastegate Have got the following but not installed yet: SAFC2 RSM HKS EVC-S Nismo Fuel Pump Nismo FPR Splitfire Coilpacks Nismo Strut Brace I would like to achieve around 220 - 230kw at the rear wheels and after searching and looking through various results that others have got and the RB25det Turbo Upgrade Thread I noticed that some people have high flowed their stock turbos and using stock injectors and afm with safc2 they have made any where between 200kw - 230kw. Questions are: 1.I thought that the stock injectors and afm would have been maxed out at 230kw? I ask this because I am suprised that people are making 230kw+ using safc2 and aftermarket turbo. 2. Have seen people using all sorts of different turbos. What would be good options for this power level? Standard Turbo High Flowed, garrett gt3071r? Any other recomendations would be cool. Idealy something that bolts onto stock manifold and requires no modification or very little modification. 3. What kinda boost would be suitable to run to make this power level? 4. Will the safc2 be enough or will I also benift from getting a sitc? 5. If there are people who are achieving similar figures or have been down this road it would be great if you could post details of your mods and power made and boost run. Also are there any things to watch out for or any other recommended mods I need to make. I have about 5k to play with but I would also like to use this to get a decent suspension setup. Ideally just want to make a nice streeter which I can also take to the track and drag strip to. Any advice would be great. Cheers Kailaas

    I noticed that you managed 230kws with you R33 Gts25t. I am looking for similar power on similar mods. So you still used a stock ecu with a safc and high flow turbo? and is this done on standard injectors and afm? Cheers
