S. E. Qld Stagea Get Together
bayslideblue replied to rb26stagea's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Nice pics guys. Thanks to Micah and Myles for setting it all up. Was a pitty I could go for the whole drive and bbq, but was still great to come along for a bit and meet a few faces and have a chat. Looking forward to the next one, I'll be there for sure. Cheers, Dave- -
Jeez you did well. I did the same but I wanted a new or near new good quality stainless system. I just bought a second hand 32gtr stainless 3" cat back for $250 (was pretty much new). He had a stock S2 stagea zorst there as well and when we lined them up they were pretty much exact however the 32 one was about 10cm shorter and obviously had lesser gradient bends. So I took that plus a new jjr split dump/front and a new hi-flow metal cat to Rob bliss. It's getting fitted up as I type. I'm hoping it'll all come in round the $750 mark for the whole lot fitted. Definately not the cheapest option, and I probably could've shopped round for a bit longer. But for practically a new high quality full turbo back stainless "3 system I reckon that's pretty good value for money. Still cheaper than buying a package. Can't wait to see/feel/hear the results.

I'd be keen on the intercooler piping, if it were for an aftermarket fmic. And not std smic. Cheers, Dave- -

Yeah would be good to be able to do the whole cruize and hang out for a bit. But can't really chuck a sickie, it's work I wanna do as well. I'm working a few days in the brisbane festival, so missing out on that one day is kinda like missing out on a weeks work. As for a central Brizzy meeting point close to me; it's probably easier if we meet somehwere further south, save having to have several meeting points on the way to the meeting point ;-) "Springwood Maccas or thereabouts & then head south?" Sounds good to me. Cheers, Dave- -

I'm in Norman park, so I could go either gateway or straight on to the pacific. I spose it might be easier to catch you somwhere if you were coming through the ICB rather than if your heading straight down the gateway. I'm easy though, if I set off around the same time I'll probably catch ya's along the way. Cheers, Dave- -

Hey all! I'm keen to come and the date is almost perfect, except that is the day that I have to start work after two weeks holiday....... But I dont' start till 12. So I was thinking I could come down for the first leg of the cruise to Nerang, and then head back to Brizzy in time to start work. So unfortunately I won't be able to make it for the whole cruise and bbq :-( But atleast I will be able to come for a little bit and see a few local stags and meet there owners. It's a pitty DarrenSpencer can't make it cos I was hoping to see his machine in the flesh. But I'm keen to see a few others and have a chat with y'all, especially Greenghost's as I think yours is a bayside blue RS as well? Anyway is there a Brizzy crew meeting somewhere or should I just head straight down? Also my mate might wanna come along either with me or in his 180. Was jsut wondering if there was any descrimination agaisnt the 180 tagging along? ;-) Look forward to it anyway, Cheers. Dave- -

I would definately be interested, if its hapnin mid september I can make it. Won't be back in the country till then. I got friends down in mullum and my GF's beetle is being worked on down there so could coincide with it being ready to be picked up. Would love to make it along anyways- :-) -
Would this be a better option than jaycar AFR & boost controller with hand controller, which I was thinkin of doing. It's a bit more expensive but if the outcome if much better.......? Any ideas on who I can talk to about getting this done in Brizzy? Cheers-

QUOTE (BradLaunch @ 15 May 2009, 06:40 AM) * Does anybody know the part number for bilstein shocks that go into the front of a S2 stagea RWD. And which model nissan match these shocks..Thanks for any help This is an email response I got from NZ when I was looking for front shocks for my rwd s2, I found someone in Brizzy who will order them in for me. So I'm gonna do that as soon as I get my tax back biggrin.gif "Hello, Yes bilsteins are a excellent shock absorber, I just spoke with my product manager and he said try contacting Sydney shock absorbers as they also deal with Bilstein. The part number to quote them will be BE5-2590 Could save a lot of hassle, time and money if you deal with them, if you have no luck with them then by all means contact me and let me know how you get on and I will try my best to help you out Regards, Shane Cooper[/color] Autolign Sales Unit 5/99 Carbine Rd Mt Wellington Auckland Ph: 0064 9 574 2286 Fax: 0064 9 574 2275 Free Phone: 0800 868 900 e-mail: sales@autolign.co.nz" Far as I know from what I've read and people have told me on here, the only thing that will swap direct is from a c34 Laurel. S14's fit apparently but you have to adjust them as the stagea is much heavier. I know it's possible order Tein, bistien or nismo for direct fit. But I don't think it's a shelf item. Have a read of the Suspension thread. Cheers-
