295.5 kw at all four. The jap car on the same dyno did 310. Thats because it runs 15 psi boost compared to 12 psi in the ADM car.

I've been told the standard airbox is better than the aftermarket job, I certainly had this problem with my EvoIX, it went faster with the std airbox. Interestingly my 0 - 20m times were similar to yours. I had 2600 kms on the car.

I have dynoed my 09 GTR ADM - its putting out 295.5 kilowatts at all four wheels. The Jap Spec car on the same dyno (at Croydon Racing Developments) put out 310 kw Why the difference? Because the ADM is running 12 psi boost, the JDM (stock) is running 15 psi! That is why Jap cars are recording 0 - 100 in 3.3 seconds My HKS 570 kit will be installed in a week. Maybe the 3.3 sec time was for 0 - 60 mph rather that 0 - 100 kph, or LC1 might be faster. Anway, I reckon the HKS kit will see a time well under 3.3 seconds.

I think you'll find that's scare tactics. My dealer has been quite reasonable about it. Unlike LC1, LC2 seems to be reasonably easy on the car - that said I've only done it twice, and wont be using it at all with the modifications.

Will dyno mine in the next few days, will let you know the results.

From memory the magazine journos didn't use launch control, that could explain it.

I recorded the following 0 - 100kph times using a GTech pro RR device (settings RRR): Automatic mode with launch control 3.764 seconds -flat surface Automatic mode with no launch control 3.900 - flat surface Manual Mode with launch control 3.820 -flat surface Manual mode without launch 4.064 - uphill This is for an ADM, premium, 22 degrees. Tests were conducted at the track. When the HKS 570 kit and Cobb custom tune (Croydon racing developments) are installed next week, I will post the enhanced 0- 100kph numbers for comparison purposes.

I'm keen to try it but brookvale nissan told me I had to wait til 2000 kms before engaging R mode, previously I'd heard I only had to do 1000 kms. Is this what you've been told also?

I got my R35 insured today with Suncorp. 37 year old, good driving record, $2200 (includes windscreen) with $850 excess, Northern Beaches. Took a day or so to get the quote as the underwriter had to assess.
