like how DVT works?
So, aspirin thins the blood slightly? But it also ravages the stomach, like any other NSAID i guess. When i was on diclofenac, i had massive gastric pains. But is it also true that all NSAIDs thin the blood? Or is it only aspirin.
And i never knew tomatoes helped with blood clotting, so those without enough blood clotting factor should feast on tomatoes maybe?
And is aspirin salicylic acid or methyl salicylate, and is there a difference? Chemically they are different, the acid group is now an ether group with a CH3 at the end. Or is salicylate changed into methyl salicylate in the body anyway?
And since we're talking about stroke here, and hypertension greatly increases the risk of stroke, are there any foods one can take to bring down the blood pressure? I'm sure a thinner blood would reduce blood pressure significantly, as pressure increases as viscosity increases.
