  1. Hi mate, I remember reading somewhere that the RB25 steel sum will fit? this would be easier as i can then fabricate the dry sum pick up points, i have a TIG but not suited for alloy..
  2. hi all, I am in the planning stage of a new project and i need some help on a few topics... 1. what RWD gearbox will fit the 26? and how hard is the conversion? 2. what sump can i use to get rid of the front diff? 3. (this is a can of worms question..) I am aiming for around 350hp at the treads...i am more interested in responce and torque than outright HP, am i better to use the twin set up ar a smaller BB single turbo? Finally i have an excellent dry sum set up off my race car that i was considering adapting to the new sump, does anyone know what the optimum delivery rate and pressure is for the RB26 motor? Thanks guys, ill be sure to post up pics throughout the build as i am sure there will be some "raised" eyebrows along the way
  3. Hey all, Ill be there for sure in the Stag. Sound like a sweet run.
  4. Hey mate, i run 8000 in my M35, they are a little on th eblue side but not to bad. They seem to really highlight and reflect objects in th edistance very well... I also run LED's in the parkers that are made up from 18 multidirectional white LED's, they look sweet and match the HID colour well. Just my 2c worth, I got all my globes through E-Bay, 60 for the HID' and 18 for the LED's. Cheers
  5. I dont want to hyjack this tread but can someone tell me if the M35's have a standard 6" speaker in the front doors and also what tweeters are on the door? Reason i ask is i want to fit some 6" splits in the front as the factory tweeter in the left door is shagged so i figure i will put in a new pair of splits, and no I am not running the standard stereo I have a Sony head unit!!!. Cheers
  6. Hi all, Just after some experienced opinion on M35 brake upgrade.... Firstly I can not afford to purchase 350Z brembo's although it would be nice....... So that being said what is the general consensus on an "upgrade" for the M35.....I dont tend to agree with the sleeve option for the 12mm bolt in a 14mm hole so I am wondering if the later R34gtst rotor/caliper combo is the easiest upgrade. Are the R34gtst brakes the same as the earlier R32GTR? OR is it best to look for 350z calipur/rotor combo/ Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  7. Hey mate sweet looking Stag, Same colour as mine What is the front bar and side skirts on it? I like the look of the front end with the fog lights. My stag will send drive forward under heavy acceleration, 4-7000 rpm but not for long and usually only in first and second gear......not really words of wizdom but might put your mind at ease.
  8. G'day mate, I have a 35 if you are still looking.

    M35 De-badge

Hi guys and gals, Just wondering if any one can tell me if the Nissan badge on the rear tail gate is held on with double sided tape or if it has pins through the panel? As you can understand i dont want to remove the badge and be left with the two holes!!!! (if they are there) Thanks in advance.
  17. Yeah + 1 for the cold surge, as i am an engineer i know the mechanical issues with flogging a cold engine and the inherrent damage it does so i can not comment on the extra HP when cold.

    Coil Packs

Hi, I dont mean to hijack this thread but i also am wondering what coil packs are available for the M35....... No one seems to want to help and i feel mine will be due for replacement soon( some surge and miss at high rpm) I was hoping to change them when i do the plugs as they are in a bastard of a place on the VQ.. Cheers
  19. Damn..... where are the M35 badges available from? I have mine de-badged but i like the look of that M35 badge..... cheers
  20. Hi all, I have just driven my M35 across the country from Sydney to Perth, man i love this thing!!!! Super comfortable and great at a constant 140 across the Nullabor. The questions i have are 1. Has anyone had a ceramic turbo fail, and if so did you rebuild it with steel wheels or just do a complete turbo upgrade, size, flow, etc etc 2. Has anyone on the west coast had a dump pipe made or imported one to suite the M35? I am fortunate to have some really good contacts in WA as i worked for Per4manz Turbo's for some time and i am pretty handy with the TIG.........BUT if i can buy a dump already made that would be great, same thing with the turbo, a high-flowed T28BB would be my first choice but i am yet to get underneath and have a good look to see if it will fit. Failing that i would look at high flowing the the factory M35 turbo and build it with all steel internals... Any advise or prior experience would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  21. Hi Lads, Can you please advise the cost and availability for a black dash mat for my M35? Cheers
  22. Hey man Dark metalic blue............why do you ask?
  23. Hi all, Thanks for your help fellas, Took the car to Nissan and put it on the diagnostics. Turns out that the warning light was coming on due to the HICAS relay having a low voltage out-put. How sweet are nissan diagnostic systems!!!! Ill post up some pics when i get the car back. Cheers
  24. Hi Guys, I am about to be the proud owner of a M35 Stagea .......Thing is the bloody HICAS light will not go out......Interesting thing is that the steering does not feel heavy in any way. Can one of you brains out there give me some reliable information on this bloody light... The car is immaculate and travelled only 52k, super clean and tidy. Is there a test mode you can run such as the gtst32's and 33's???? Who would have the diagnostic equipment and be reliable enough to trust to use it in the sydney area? Finally who is most likley to have M35 stagea parts in sydney? Thanks Guys. Cusco
