  1. well i got an exedy heavy duty in mine, but still on my 33. had it for 6 months. i can take it out and see how good it is
  2. +1 its a stupid comparison, how can u compare a 4litre car to a 2.5lt, even tho a lot of N/A skylines can do better than commodores. and for v8 drivers complaining about turbo being "cheating" is jus stupid. the fact that a well tuned 2.5 straight 6 can beat a 5.7 or 6lt v8 is too much for them to take.. f*&k, wat am i tlkin about,,jus read the other thread about this.
  3. tell your mate he owes you
  4. LOLL this happened to me while ago,, anyways, not a bad thing, your wheel probably looks bent in at the bottom now, right? well all u need to do is call up a few wreckers, ask for a lower control arm for whatever side it is. hopefully u got a spare rim, othrwise thats the most expensive bit. I was lucky i found a replacement rim for cheap, i bought a new trye and had the control arm replaced and the wheel fitted. you will need a wheel allignment after this altogether cost me about 250 or so
  5. Loll anyway back on topic..,i thought skyhigh was pretty good wen i took the lady there, for 500 bucks i'd say do a full day thing and take her to a few places,,and enjoy the drives in between ,,but yeh its the spending time together part thats important, so jus try goin to places where theres a lot to do have fun, chief
  6. i just answered your question in your other thread about std 33 coils. besides there have been many threads on this topic before. just use the search function..its your friend
  7. completely different, series 1's are ignited from one module that sits on top of the rocker cover, series 2's hav built in igniters sitting on top of each coil. what do you have?
  8. Hey bro, thanks for the reply. Yeah i think I'll have a look at the heater core tomorro, just see exactly where its coming from. well it had a lil bit of oil comin out at first but looked like coolant to me. i didnt put the air con on tho. yeah i think theres low pressure, i could feel it wen i sqeezed the radiator hoses. I'll let u kno how i go tomorro, but u can come have a look wen u can. cheers bro Ben
  9. It looks like a 33gtr bumper to me,,but i could be wrong
  10. hw much for drivers side door trim? and where u located?
  11. As topic states, I found a leak under the car today. I drove down the freeway and back to buy somethin today, went back to a friend's house coz Im in the process of replacing all my intercooler hoses with good quality ones. anyways as soon as i rock up and get under the car to do it, i jus saw a stream at the drivers side, had a tiny amount of oil, but after smelling it, found it was 98% coolant. I checked and saw it dripping from the middle of the undercarriage but more towards the driver side..I had some coolant and filled the radiator and bottle with water, checked under again,,no leak at all.ok, so i drove home, didnt push the car at all(no boost, not goin over 2.5 grand before shifting), kept checking my mirrors for any liquid on the road, even did a couple of rounds of my block to see if i left anything on the road, saw nothing. but as soon as i parked, it leaked for a bit, so left it, came back 2 hours later, checked the level in the bottle and it was still full ,,i still topped up the radiator anyway. jus came bak now from a 2 minute trip up to the shops, and from parking there it left a bit on the carpark ground. Now, ive never had a leak this big and the radiator's always been fine. I checked the oil level, still high throughout. Im not gonna drive the car anymore till i kno wat to. do you guys think its jus a split or loose radiator hose? am i better off taking it to a place that deals with turbos or is any alright mech good enough? sorry for the long post, its jus as descriptive as i could get it. also, my temp guage has not gone over the normal hot temp level at any stage. If i get some time i'll try get under the car tomorro and hav a look. Let me kno wat u guys think? i dnt wanna do any damage..any help is appreciated cheers Ben
  12. looks like all the basic mods hav been done for u. do u kno what kinda engine management its got, or how much boost its running? i wouldnt think the front mount wud be there if the car was running stock boost
  13. hey would u take $35 today for the boost controller,,im in SE melb too,,can pick up.. cheers Ben
  14. that is pretty cool,,check back soon
  15. Looking good,,got future power plans?
  16. Bro, he means that his engine is unopened and made 300kw. But if someone, for example, had forged internls and bought this kit, they would be capable of making more power.
  17. good choice..and glad u got insurane..got any pics of it?
  18. Im not saying ur intellectually challenged bro,,but i think the problem may hav been there before u bought the car..hence the good price u must hav got it for
  19. Any dyno can give you an afr reading. jus depends who will give u the cheapest run. just call around and ask
  20. Why did you buy it if it was smoking? Didnt you notice the smoke wen test driving it? Or did this just very recently happen
  21. Nice looking car u got there bro Well you'll be doing the right thing by upgrading the exhaust first,,theres a lot of power to b gained if u get a good free flowing exhaust happening. Front mount, not neccessary, unless you're gonna be running a lot of boost or aiming for more than 200kw. Yeah these are real fun cars to drive, i never get tired of driving mine Enjoy it
  22. nah,its a bost leak, check all the intercooler hose clamps and make sure its air tight
  23. Welcome to the RB family bro, what plans u got for the 33? U aimin to get much power? Ben
