  1. Good work I can't stress it enough that even one day out can kill a car with no oil cooler / stock radiator I'm currently paying for it lol
  2. Europcar were good to us with a Micra, but just beware of and check the insurance excesses of all companies, because most of these companies will have ridiculous excesses if you don't pay an extra $100 premium for no excess etc.
  3. Did the line Not suggest a strong likelihood of satire
  4. I hear the illicit drugs thread may have some useful suggestions...
  5. I can understand them not wanting us to come back and complain about the cracking but I can't even get cash jobs happening lol
  6. Wonder if it could do if with spak filler lol
  7. Whilst I agree the guy who painted the car was a numpty, people don't wanna work with fiberglass fullstop
  8. No one wants to touch the fiberglass Have a chicken tonight jar worth of paint though if you wanna glass and spray it
  9. It wasn't turtle wax ya knob
  10. Haha if you want another, I'll get you to go over Leesh's...it's got a lot of cobwebs and some light marring. Actually need to get her rear bar re-glasses and gone over too.
  11. We've done yours before, it was a pain in the ass. Should take it to Dave for a polish then come past mine for a wax.
  12. Hm...whaddya know...they're little footballs Laces ouuut
  13. Finkle is Einhorn
  14. That's what I tell ya mum but she insists on showering
  15. No ones discounting your polishing (pic below was pre-wax), but waxes deepen the shine; you saw the diff once it had it on there Didn't I give you money too lol, cheap labour
  16. Don't bullshit us mate, you've never made it to a dirt road
  17. Yeah you pretty much discounted the price by 40% with your offer lol 10-15% off is a reasonable offer I think E-go may be able to help you with the shipping, they are generally cheap
  18. But how many of those are you driving?
  19. It's not OCD or an extra level, it's a totally different photo mate. You're comparing a long exposure shot - probably taken on a dslr - to a phone photo. The photograph looks better but the shine doesn't. You can achieve that with my wax shine in the same conditions and the colours will be just as vibrant. Objects in Paul's reflection actually look distorted in shape so I dunno where the sharpness comes into it. My photo wasn't about pride either, it was about the products - simple point being made here - you can get 99% with shit from a supermarket!
  20. My photo is only lacking in vibrant colours, obvious by the low level of saturation in the nature strip colours - something you can put down to the camera taking the photo and the scene/setting. It looks like Paul's shot is a long exposure (possibly edited in post) which adds depth and vibrancy to a shine. But I really don't see how you can improve upon what is effectively a mirror shine from this angle anyway. In my pic you can't see where sky starts and the car finishes, save for the door jam gap. If that's not 1% difference to the shine in Paul's, you'll need to point out to me where, from these pics the rest of the difference is. Driving on the road too, no one will be able to tell you which one was clearly done by professionals and that's where 99% is good enough. Also congrats to Paul for nearly making it out of the garage with the evo!
  21. Go get this one instead! http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/462295-r33-gtr-lm-limited-for-sale/

  23. Brilliant car and looks so well kept. I usually laugh at prices 10-15k above the average market prices, but this IMO is worth it. One for a collector.
