Yeah my vote is river. Still meet at the usual spot then drive out to the river. I'd much prefer to be out in the sun near some water with a beer

The suggested cruise route is still OFF. But the road to the river from western creek is still good as ever... so we'll just meet up at grevillia park then kinda go straight there via commonwealth av then cotter road

I went back to the river today. Looked a bit better, still soggy though... If this sun stays out it should be ok to go there still. The only problem could be the gate at the entry... But somthing magical might happen where the gate somehow gets opened for us 11 am this morning, come on sun!

Well last nights rain put the final nail in the coffin for going out to uriarra crossing. I went for a look today and the gate was locked! I've been going there all my life and have never seen it locked before! But luckely i had a key for it in the van Proposed BBQ area: Unless we're keen to swim and cook all in one go... Perspective on just how high the river is: There's usually at least 50 metres between the carpark and the water... Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Any other suggestions?

I have never seen them before, they look really high tech though eh, held on with nothing but a ratchet strap... They certainly aren't anything from the "traffic camera office"
