NIStune
ATR34G2 (Hypergear Turbo), check the hypergear thread for my dyno sheet
3" exhaust
3" intake with pod
fuel system as above
blitz return flow FMIC
that was a quote from someone on here in another thread... i forgot who and where though...
Like i said it's just a rough calc. it all does depend on tyres and diff ratios, but meh close enough.
nar no need for the fuel pressure regulator. But you will need to upgrade your fuel pump if your gonna make good use of the size of the injectors
I've heard nothing but good things from croydon.
I'm in the ACT so i can't really help out much more than that.
can't you see the images?
i think rpm roughly = speed/28 * 1000
spikes up to 19psi at about 4100rpm then bleeds out all the way down to 14ish psi by 6000.
these are the exact ones i got
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SIEMENS-550CC-FUEL-...=item335f71ce57
just email him and ask for 6 instead of 8, tell him it's for the nissan and he'll chuck in the connectors
$71.50 each. for $429, great price!
i got them off a bloke in qld (i think)
It was just off ebay... around $500ish from memory
And yes you'll need the plugs, and colder them onto the existing loom.
Update.
Got my CarPc up and running. with the nistune software on it.
I also now have a nice PULP98 map and an e70 map.
Over the next few weeks when I have time I'll be finishing off the programming and scripting to get the "one button fuel map change" going.
I will make up a "Mid Map" where i use mostly the PULP98 timing map, but adjust the fuel to suit a 50-50ish mix for those pesky occasions where you're at the coast with half a tank of fuel and not enough to get home and no one sells the good stuff...
Also looking at doing a one button "lean by 1 AFR" and "richen by 1 AFR"
Failing somehow integrating the ehtanol content sensor into NIStune, i reckon this'll be about the best way to make the most out of the e-flex and e85!
I'll get some pics up soon
update on my E-Flex adventures.
Car feels AMAZING to drive, more torquey, smoother throughout the entire rev range.
290rwkw with siemens deka 550cc injectors, walbro pump. still more left in the injectors, and pump seems to be keeping up just fine.
Good news!
This is a ATR43G2 profile turbo on a stock r34 gtt. rb25detneo.
running the 17psi actuator, no boost controller (well it's there just not doing anything)
and fueled up on caltex E-Flex (e70) according to the manager.
I didn't even bother trying to hold the boost up... The power level was enough for my likings
Edit : for trozzle
I'm running them in mine with nistune. only the 550's though. Idle like a dream and just pulled 291rwkw on e-flex (e70) with plenty left in them..
as long as you can adjust the Injector latency (the "turn on time") then they'll be jsut fine
And I'm positive you can adjust this on a powerfc!
wideband closed loop would be awesome! is that what your gonna be running? I'm very much limited to what NIStune can do.
I'll be getting the software tomorrow when I'm "hard at work" and have my laptop there hehehe
so i'll grab it off ya then. cheers!
I think it's meant to do a much better job of keeping the optimum AFR during cruise and idle.
As in it's continually being monitored and adjusted to stay at the best ratio.
