  4. Hey Guys, Over the last few weeks I have been feeling my driver side window stick a bit and this afternoon it stuck on the way up and isn't going anywhere. From my quick search around the forum it sounds like this is a common problem. Does anyone know someone in or near Newcastle that can fix it? Or how hard is it to fix yourself? Thanks, Scott
  5. Hey Guys, I am fast approaching 50K on the clock and wanted to know if anyone knows what has to be done? Is this an expensive one? Can anyone recommend a decent mechanic around Newcastle that can do it? Thanks. Scotty
  6. OK all, lets sort a final list of whos coming. Also I have an idea for some photos if someone is keen to take some decent ones. I might be able to get the cars up to the top of fort Scratchley. there are some big guns and also it hasn't really been done before. let me know what you think Scotty
  7. Yesterday I saw a gold m35 at the Quix on the pacific hwy just north of chatswood. about 5pm, Looked good. anyone we know?
  8. If a few people are keen you can stay right in newcastle either at the ibis which works out close to the F1 $$$ wise or if you can hack the hostel thing there is a good YHA right on newcastle beach. If your lucky enough you might be able to score a room with a hot Swedish backpacker girl. Just an option because Wallsend is like the Penrith of Newcastle. No offence to anyone from the rif. Also those dates are good for me. The sooner someone makes a call the better.
  9. I am in for the foreshore for sure. ha ha ha Next month some time will be cool.
  10. So i was on the cruse back from Sydney today and went to eject a CD. when I did it made some noises and then showed the following screen. Now it wont eject any of the CD's. Has anyone seen or experianced this before and how do you fix it. Or, am i farked? Cheers,
  11. Last night I drove from Newcastle to Terrigal for the night and used my girlfriends GPS to get me there. It took me on a strange route that i had not driven on before. But the delight was finding a sweet lil bit of road just as you get off the pacific hwy at Lisarow. It goes from Mcdonalds rd through to wattle tree road. This was the first time I have really been able to show the stagea some corners and it loved it. It did get a little bit of understeer through the off camber corners, but on the whole I am suprised with how well the old boat did. When I got to the end I was dissapointed it was over so i went back and did it again.
  12. What is the story with the auto closing boot, how do you know if you have that? Is it an m35 thing? I would like to add the auto dipping rear view mirrors and the bose sub in the spare wheel. Oh and just the other day i found the hidden cup holders for the rear seats under the middle of the rear seat.
  13. Thanks mate, I like the heated seats but some times the warm feeling is reminiscent of pissing yourself which kinda weirds me out.
  14. There seams to be a fair bit of talk about heated seats at the moment. I Just wanted to know if anyone knows what the difference is in the m35 heated seats when you push the switch forward or backwards. I assumed its different levels of heat, but my ass cant tell the difference if it is. So, does anyone know?
  15. For me it is one of the options on the switch next to the mirror adjustment. One is out, one is in and the other is automatic. Not sure which is which tho.
  16. I love that, its handy that they fold back for my thin garage. I found a little button that toggles the dipping on and off.
  17. I only just discovered that when I put the M35 into reverse it automatically dips the right rear view mirror so i can see behind. Do they all do that?
  18. Yeah, he took some convincing. I wish i had thought of it at the time, but what i should have said was... "you RB-ing an idiot." See what i did there.
  19. I had my first, what kind of Volvo is this moment from my father in laws mate, who as it turns out is a doosh-bag. he preceded to attempt to convince me that buying an import was a crazy idea because i couldn't get parts for it especially a Nissan because they are crap. Not long later his daughter and her boyfriend turned up in a VL turbo and he said. "Now that's a car, Australian made yadda yadda." I was so embarrassed for him. Why do i know these people?
  20. I dont know if this is old news but this picture looks pretty sweet.
  21. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=h...;title=M35%20AT This is what mine has. im still a bit unsure about it. Its growing on me tho.
