another question this tester raises.....dope stays in your system for ages......what happens if you smoke a jay the day/night before the day you are going for a drive and get tested?? Tech speaking you are not under the influence but it may still be in your system.....

To my knowledge all BOV's that vent to atmosp. are illegal. All BOVs that are plumbed back (vent down exhaust) are legal..

Considering how important cooling issues are its prob best to get it checked out!! Alt. find a similar aged 'line and check out how loose their rad is (no sexual conn please!!!)

lethal, Not sure how much movement should be there but there needs to be some to allow for the movement of the engine etc while driving. I guess those rubber things degrade over time but it shouldn't be bad on a 95 model......

Road Angel uses GPS to identify Blackspots & fixed speed cameras. Basically a central database holds the GPS data for a blackspot and fixed camera and when U get close it sends a signal to the unit in ur car which alarms the driver. Also you can record a spot from the unit in ur car.....for example if u r driving passed a car mounted camera and u know u r going passed that spot again record the position on the unit and when u get close again it will warn u.....

DJR33, mate, don't know how quick they could get it 4 ya but try Jetspeed in Melb on 9548 8828. They fitted a 400R front bar to my 'line (see avatar) and did a top job with fitment and painting.

In my experience on the road (to 60kmh of course!!)....Rex has better traction off the line......but the 'line starts to pull em back in from about 4000rpm and just keeps doing it in every gear. The only time a Rex should kill ya is in the wet!!!

DJR33, Not 100% sure but.....old colour & clear coats will have 2 b sanded down....once thats done here comes the hard part......it depends on the material of the bar....eg if fibreglass they usually have a 'gelcoat' to seal the material before paint.....if this is damaged or if u were a bit keen on the sanding bit this might need to be re-done before the re-spray. My 2 cents.......if unsure take it to a professional afterall it is ur pride & joy!!!

oh okay.....I got a black plastic (maybe 10mm) hose runnin from just below the rad cap (l/h/s) to the top of the o/flow bottle but I'm pretty sure there isn't another hole.......if there was how could the system keep pressure & once hot you'd see steam pissin out of the hole!

jimx, that hole is supposed to have a black plastic return hose to the overflow bottle!!! That way less evap. & you don't lose the coolant!!!

DJR33, Sorry 2 say mate but the GTR bar doesn't fit on a GtsT without some major mods......GTR is wider than a Gtst therefore bar width has to be reduced.....

Sorry to hear that man......good luck with the repair. I grew up in Doncaster but never needed my car fixed. However my parents weren't so lucky......unfortunately I can't remember the name of the place but they can be found behind the old pizza hut/pancake parlour on donnie rd (theres a little side street next 2 the old pizza hut, take that then turn 1st right....u can't miss it on ur right hand side) they did a top job....parents owned the car a further 4 yrs and never had a prob.
