what brand is that muffler?

I just got my adj gear in the post. Its -4 retarded at the crank right? so the adjustment would be 2 of the little notches if the inner wheel was turned clockwise - that being if each notch = 2 degrees of crank thanks BTW a good post on dyno gains from this is at: camgear

mine does this too. Do you have a standard exhaust? Maybe its a exhaust heatshield vibrating at a certain pitch.

Cooler core is 600X300X75. Its new and is really heavy. Head is in good condition but has no manifolds. just head with cams/valves still in with cam covers. In Toowoomba $400 Swap for stealth type cooler and/or stainless exhaust for r33gts pm me/post here

BTW is the nismo 320km cluster just the front covers for the standard gauges, just with the j2 jumper bridged to reduce the speedo sweep? If it is where do I buy them?

Ive got a r33 that was a auto and now a manual SO it has a 4.4 diff which makes my speedo read(with the wheel size change) about 7% high. ie It needs to be reading 107kph for the car to do doing a real 100. My standard r33 180km speedo had only the 4 and 5 factory joined. After abit of trail and error I came to 1 - 3 - 4 -5 being joined and it seems close,that judging by the tacho- I dont have a gps but I will borrow one and check. will edit this if it out and needs to change - take note those who do Auto-manual convos.

anyone done a dyno run before and after this r34 cooler upgrade?

crap -so i'm missing out on 2 psi? that is ALOT if im only getting 5 psi. My factory gauge reads about a 2-3mm below the middle line. Suppose I should get a cheap temp boost gauge to check it , and if it low then get a bleeder. thanks for the info guys

did you need to do anything special for the manual ecu? I mean did it just plug in and go ? and were you able to remove the auto computer afterwards?

So far Ive bought and installed a Pioneer usb head (thanks to jb's sales) and the jaycar 6.5 kevlar's just in the front. Got the blank DIN and jap ariel adaptor from autobarn. I got the 6.5s to fit with the door standard speaker mounts(with a bit of moding), and drilled the door plug to pull the cable thru. Sound really good, still want to put put the jaycars on the back and maybe put some deadener in the door. thanks for the advice guys.

The black looks great. Do you need to use a special primer/paint to go onto the plastic? Did you use a clear over it?
