With the G27 I don't have this issue. You get the entry right and the steering feels great. Leave the braking a little to late and it's all understeer

Agreed, it always has seemed a bit slow. but once you get the hang of it its fine. Grid is the other end of the scale, all mad skids just by looking at the wheel.

Forza 4 has more buyable DLC that GT5 if you wanna be picky about it. In all the years of GT5 there has only been a hand full of DLC, most of which I bought as it comes with cool cars but more importantly more tracks. thats great and been said many times over. DLC is the way of the world now man, alot of cars weren't out when the game was released. I think you'll find fortza has that too.
