  1. Well, under braking it sends power to the front - so yes it does something, and if it sends more power to the front than before then I'm sure you would feel that as a more "planted feel". Just saying.
  2. On waiting list also - put my entry in on Wednesday. Can't believe how quickly it filled out.
  3. Actually, I have something to ask - get you see if you can remove the sleeve, ABS securing tab, that has a small metal tab welded on it from the fronts - You need to remove both springs (main and keeper), springs seats and the top large adjuster nut. Why I'm asking that is that the sleeve, in between two adjuster nuts, positions the bottom adjuster really low so you can't really lower the car that much. Without the sleeve the bottom adjuster nut will sit just underneath the big adjuster, just like it does on the rears, and instead of the silly sleeve you can just use hose clamps or something similar to secure the ABS cable. Let me know if you can remove it - you may need to slide it over the blue plastic shroud, or see if that can be also removed. Shouldn't take more than 5mins if you still don't have top hats on the suckers. cheers Bel
  4. Awesome man - lucky with the customs, I got smashed though so I expect you to get a first round of beers
  5. SOLD ...............admins please close the thread.
  6. To be honest mate I really don't know. They don't even list Skyline on their site so what I've done is searched by the Bilstein part number. I guess if it appears in Bilstein catalogue then just hit up google and you may get lucky.
  7. Yes you can - front you adjust on the top, and rears you adjust from under the car - no need to take the wheels off but it helps if the exhaust is cool when adjusting left hand side.
  8. Nick, How is the progress going? I absolutely love my ones, I left the front at the softest setting but I adjusted rear ones to 6, feels better now, hope you get yours soon too.
  9. DS2500's - $200 pick up - you can't find this cheaper anywhere so for all the Melb based people its a great opportunity. PM to organise a pickup. ATTKD's - if you get this online it wil set you back $529 with shipping - pickup only - $490. PM to organise a pickup.
  10. $220 - open to reasonable offers.
  11. My car is a v-spec, and it always felt pretty harsh, not sure if that's how they all feel - I would say this PSS9 setup feels better on setting 9 - softest - just smoother - still hard, but I think its an improvement over stock - as much as I can tell after 150kms of suburban Melbourne driving. Felt better over the catseyes and train-tram lines too. I did hit a pothole when I had it set at 7 on the front and it was harsh - and then I changed it to 9, drove over similar sized bumps and it felt much better - I know, its not a real test but its a bit of an indication of ride quality.
  12. It took 4-5 weeks I think, didn't really mind waiting anyway. Tried the suspension again today with settings at 7 on the front and it was noticeably rougher - put it all back to 9 and its really nice.
  13. Initial impressions - wow. Really nice ride - tried it on setting 9 - softest. Very smooth over bumps, when accelerating rear does not squat nowhere near as much, but then again I had a 15yr old stock suspension on my car so not surprised it was squatting. I have read a few reviews of PSS9's and now I understand what they mean when other users say how bumps and potholes feel "muted" - suspension just absorbed everything really nicely and car remained composed. Cornering also felt much more stable - before my rear end used to wallow and slide a bit when accelerating, and now even in these wet conditions it just felt smooth and planted. I can definitely say it did not feel like ultra hard racing suspension - maybe that's how it would feel on setting 1. Leave setting 1 for the track. Money well spent is my verdict -
  14. Yes - I got a set of stock suspension of an SAU member several weeks ago....now I just need to get it all installed. Will keep you informed on how they feel.
  15. .........and here they are in my spare bedroom Total cost $1455....................sounds so funny reading old HPI mags that list these PSS9's for only $5,400 as a great suspension upgrade for our cars.
  16. Damn the RB26 and the lack of space. Anybody uses a simple sandwich plate without the relocation kit on the RB26 - would love to see your installation pics. Got a 10-row cooler and this adapter - hoses and connectors will be purchased later on, when I figure out where to mount the core - there just is stuff all room - even a drivers guard is full of hoses and bov's(I think) - passenger side guard seems so far away. Would appreciate R33 GT-R installation pics.
  17. Or SAU opens a museum and this is exhibit #1.
  18. Paid my taxes the other day so the grand total now is in the $1400 range - so they have been released from customs yesterday and I'm awaiting delivery early next week Will keep you guys updated how it all goes.
