  1. Anybody keen - free to a good home, pickup only - Ringwood Vic.
  2. Mate, can you post some pics of the back end and the diff fo the people that are interested in buying - since I saw this car on the road and couldn't see a diffuser so just assumed its not a V-Spec. PS: and yes, this car looked immaculate when I saw it driving.

    Tyre Suggestion

Tirerack would be an obvious alternative to the dealers.
  4. Same here - would love to see a bunch of GT-R's cruising around
  5. Wow, looks like you guys had a great day - yet again I couldn't make the 1st round, but hopefully I'll be there for Sandown - and my baby got some new shoes too, just waiting on suspension now.
  6. Mate, you got stock suspension for sale?
  7. With PSS9's you have to re-use your existing ones. Anybody knows where to get some spare ones from? Wreckers maybe? Are they a common fit or just gt-r specific?
  8. Well don't be too sad - I haven't received nothing yet, lets see how this experiment goes LOL Placed an order this morning then 12 hrs later the TVH Autoteile sales agent got back to me asking for the exact car brand, model, date of manufacture, capacity, kw etc etc - then after they re-checked my order details (part number) against the car model they advised me that's its all correct and then they sent me their paypal details and I just paid them - $1222.
  9. LOL - yeah, that's what I'm also thinking - I'll be the guinea pig - if they arrive we can all go sick
  10. Why the UK store - its 200+ bucks more expensive then direct from Deutschland. Try them both - ze Germans had some issue with the Australian orders, couldn't select the shipping on-line, but now after I sent them email its all fixed up. German site: TVH UK site: Kamracing Just placed the order with ze Germans - hopefully it all goes smoothly.
  11. Euro 99 shipping to Oz Cost = Euro 843 + shipping Total - just under AU$1200. I think the price is great too - and as far as I can tell I can't see anything dodgy about the deal. UK guys quoted me AU$1350 shipped.
  12. Even if I have to pay 10% SD I'm still looking at a considerable savings
  13. Hear, hear.
  14. They are really easy to install - and I'm also pretty sure you don't have to cut any wires, just open them up and connect RSM into the wires like a T junction, then if you remove RSM later on you just disconnect the RSM wires and cover up the break in the wire insulation with some heat shrink or elec tape.
  15. So are these meets for the SAU Vic members, or for the forum members - or is it all welcome type of event. Should make an apperance at the April/May meet, I hope
  16. SMS'd you - no response. These are still available - PM me if interested - pickup after 7PM or weekends. Size is 245/45-R17's
  17. Anybody ever dealt with TVH Autoteile? In Germany. I can basically import a set of PSS9's from there direct for around $1200, landed, for a set, so just want to know if anybody has already tried importing it. I can also get it from UK, for around $1350 landed. Anybody tried getting suspension components via UK? Same price as BC's - too tempting. Both avenues much cheaper then the local quoted costs, which were around 2K. Any feedback would be appreciated.
  18. They are mega expensive - but also probably hard as a rock - I think the ones pictured have springs rate of 15kg/mm - great for some smooth tracks... maybe, but on our roads - forget it.
  19. Same here - anybody knows where to source some?
  20. Not sure if this was a question for me or not, but I have stock suspension. Just to clarify. I'm considering getting coilovers, although not sure I want 8-6 springs.
  21. Travis, so even with F-8 and R-6 you can make them comfortable for the street? I have an R33 - and standard these things run F-4kg/mm and R-5kg/mm, that's for a V-Spec(apparently stiffer rear is there to provoce oversteer), standard R33's run 3.2kg/mm front and rear - and I'm not so sure I want to go to something like 8-6 - I'm already suffering on the bumpy Mlb roads.
  22. As the tiles says I have a set of these tyres and I want them gone. They came with the car when I bought the car - three are made in late 2003, one in 2008. They did go throught the roadworthy with the car - not sure if it was wink-wink nudge nudge type of RWC. Tread depths are 4mm-5mm-6mm-8mm so yeah, they are far from new. I want $10 for them, for all 4 - pickup from Ringwood, Vic. PM if interested
  23. Thanks for the correction guys - I have a few of the MP also. PS: Ash, I hope your camera survived the wet.
  24. Mitsubishi guys were not having a great day.
