^^ You jhave to actually prove you lived in Japan and drove the car regularly for a year, on top of registered ownership IN Japan to bring a car in via personal import. Sadly its not as simply as buying a car and waiting a year before it goes onto a container. If it was, I'd definately be cheating the SEVS rules and bring in a turbo manual AWD C35 Laurel.

By no means an easy conversion. VQ DOES come in RWD but I can't think of what cars do. Cedric/Cima/Gloria come with it but they're all turbo. You'll need. Modify crossmember. Modify gearbox crossmember and mounts. Custom Exhaust (specifically mid section, but the whole lot might need doing). Custom intake pipework. Modify power steering lines Modify Air Conditioning lines. Wiring The list goes on and on. There's no straight instructions for it. Work's branch is in Brendale. I think S13 handbrake is very close. Do double check, butt he way I'd do it: punch opening in the floor for the main cable, link the main up to the 2 cables, then mount the handbrake bracket/assembly. Rather than mount the handbrake first Let me know how you go.

Need to resize the images. Think total is 2MB... I'm keen on the handbrake lever including cable. Cup holder DIN thing under CD player if it's still got it I might be after some boot lining and shit (the hard plastic stuff), post more pics and lemme know how much you if you're willing to ship to WA. Dunno man, like I said, with the fronts I don't know if the GTR differs to the GTS4. Put it this way, if it's a direct fit, sweet, if it's not a direct fit, then it's better/stronger, so might as well go it anyway, it just means you'd need to buy shafts as well. Win Win, right?

YEs and no. REAR hubs on GTR are different in that they have a different number of splines, to accomodate the stronger GTR axles, GTR axles use a 6 bolt flange (6x1, not 3x2) You could use GTR diff, axles and hubs, then you have stronger axles at the rear. As for the fronts, not sure...I'd assume the fronts follow a similar fashion....

Looks like JaiK / Konnects old Cefiro ?? Black interior, cream carpet, dash mat. Dent in driver's door. Before it was sold the Final Konnex kit was removed and sold seperately. Also identifiable by dent in driver's door right at the door handle. Looks like its had a rough time since... :\

10th Anny Ceffy key is long gone now mate. S13 fits RWD Cefiro ya. Rear coilovers same same S13 & R32 (rear suspension has 2 studs on strut top)

Series 2 / 3 only, RB20DET only, Auto only. Biggest giveaway is the front suspension, R32 GTS4. Strut towers are closer to the centre (less room in engine bay than RWD Cefiro), Strut towers have 2 holes at the top, not 3. They use an upper control arm, different knuckles, etc. Next biggest giveaway is the driveshafts at the front and its ability to smoke tyres Pull the ATTESA fuse for RWD

I didnt install the clutch...I pulled it out of the halfcut, looked at it, still heaps of meat left on it so I just chucked the good gearbox on it and threw it into the Ceffy...Stock clutch, 126xxx kms...dare say it was the factory clutch ? Doesnt matter, new flywheel and GTR clutch on now....

There's 2 surrounds, total 4 pieces. One surround is fixed to the collumn (section with the key barrel) the other section moves inwards and outwards with the telescopic adjustment (fixed to the section with the wiper/headlight stalks) Interchangeable with C33 Laurel. I've got those left over from my halfcut in brown, I'll try find them and dye them black if you want them, PM me if interested.

Looking good The first one looks better IMO but it does actually expose the reinforcement bar. Not a problem for people who cut the bar out and smash a great big FMIC in there. The second doesn't look as g ood but doesnt have the reo-bar problem. Guess it comes down to what the people want ? -

Got stuck in today stripping the temp. paint in the engine bay, didn't find any rust which is good, some of the factory paint was chipped up and flaking, dunno why. Gave it some primer over the top of the area's I did strip back. I'll strip down the other area's tomorrow, and strip back the primer I laid, then apply 1 coat of primer, still can't make my mind up as to paint it myself in high temp acrylic or just get it done same time as the whole car. These things make life breezy Anyway, some blurry shithouse pics off teh new phone.

Symmetrical Series 1 Autech. Needs a lip IMO. Series 2 FTW. And on that note, how about bigger side openings....perhaps big enough to show off a small oil cooler, instead of intercooler piping? -
Maybe. Wanted to ask the guy at the red light but just couldn't quiet get along side him :\ So, in other news: I got my gearbox out tonight. ! hour 20 mins, including jacking car up, driveshaft, diff, and getting the box on the ground and out from under the car. As it turns out....there might be nothing wrong at all with the box, the clutch on the other hand, farken LOL. Heavy wear on the inside of the compound (10mm section on the inside has about 1.0-1.5mm more wear), the compound itself was shithouse...half the clutch just crumbled as soon as I pulled it off, and the flywheel has scorch marks all round. So....maybe the crunchies was clutch engagement...since the box hasn't even been leaking oil. Hahahah...ah....ha....eh.....gayest story of my life
