somehow i managed to snap the rear ceramic turbine wheel on the day of 2004 QLD Drag Combat (i remember it was 45 degree). it drove like a non turbo vehicle. well...actually worse than any NA car. there was no power at all....if you are in the same stiuation....i guess it's your turbo(s).

hey MAXX...you know what...soon as i read your post...i went straight to HKS web site (Jap) it states GT-SS is a 320hp turbo...they tested on a R34 GTR with HKS step1 camshaft (IN 264 EX264) which produced 422kw(574.3hp)/[email protected] in flywheel.....They also tested on PS13 which made 239kw(325.6ps)/[email protected] it is interesting, because it is different from what i read from the HKS cataloge i have got here (which states GT-SS is a 280hp turbo). I think i might get a Tomei Poncam sometime in the future...

never see a car running two T51R on a GTR and dont think any1 would fit 2 of them on a GTR. a T51R is about as big as my head :bonk:

I'm using HKS dump pipes and front pipes...but i cant tell you how good they are as i put everything on in 1 go...they seen to be in a really good quality though

hmm.....just wondering how does it compare with the EVC4....i'm using ACVR at moment...but a bit pissed with the spike thing....therefore, i'm thinking of replacing it with either EVC4 or Blitz D1 limited boost controller (i think it is the same as SBC ID III)

hey guys.... as most of us takes out car to Gavin at Autotech...and i never heard of anything BAD against Gavin's quality of work and friendly service. I'm also happy with Gavin's work. man...sad to hear you are selling your GTR as you just got it, especially it is a nice clean one (saw the photo in your gallery)....but what can you do with those vic police and defecting things....really sux anyway, I'm sure you will get a good price for it....good luck with the sale

I have RB26DETT in the car...and NO...it doesn't come with EBC...it only has a restrictor to limit the boost at 06bar of boost

I heard from some people that "the only illegal Boost controller is an In-cabin Bleed type controller such as the Turbosmart Dual stage controller. In QLD electronic Boost controllers are Legal"...... if it is true, i should be alright as accroding to the statement "if your car is legal in qld, there is an agreement between all states that you can drive on their roads , if its not legal in vic that doesnt make any difference"

haha.....yeah.....QLD is like a Heaven for all Jap Import Owners.....i never get defected, EPA by police in QLD in past 8 years, but only speeding and not having a plate in the front... i guess we just need to stay at home on friday nite or get a normal car as a spare to drive around

i got an EPA today on the way to a cafe on the Chapel St.....as i almost got there...a cop stopped me and checked out my car...and luckily all he could find was AVCR as my car looks very standard....oh well....never go out again on friday nite

hey guys.....i just got an EPA from VIC Police for having AVCR on my car....how nice~~~!!! that's why VIC people said "VIC is the place to be fined" anyway, just wondering...is it illegal to have a EBC on the car in QLD??? if no, then would that affect me as i'm holding QLD licence and my car is registered in QLD...would that still affect me??? thanks

hi all I never get a EPA b4, but unfortunitely i got a EPA today for having a AVCR on my car.....just wondering has any1 got done for this???? do you just need to get a RWC or have to actually bring the car into the EPA inspection centre or something like that thanks
