  3. black 34 in a workshop in geelong today
  4. could be, replace the rings and see how you go from there. just make sure all the hoses are put back firmly in the correct spot if you take the manifold or any other pieces off when replacing the rings.
  5. as nismiod has stated, you get what you pay for. i had sideskirts painted on my old car and they bubbled something shocking (was a cheapish job) plus a bad paint job always looks bad, cant polish sh!t
  6. so.. 6.45ish at 5/205 Thames Prom Chealsea Heights Vic 3196? Carwash meet beforehand somewhere near this destination?
  7. might come to this as well, if time permits
  8. +1 for n13 if he gets a hatch and put the rear seats down there is a surprising amount of room for dogs / engines / bodies fairly economical and if he is unable to increase the budget much he may not want a gas guzzler... plus its nissan...
  9. SC14 (toyota supercharger) located in the Geelong / Melbourne area I purchased this from an engineering place about 12 months ago, for a build but ended up selling the car, so no longer required. Has been sitting around and I have not used it. it apparently had been dismantled and cleaned out, rear bearings checked and rear cover replaced/re-sealed. The coating on the rotors appear good, with no markings and rotates smoothly. I'm looking for $500 - I paid more for it and I will not go lower on this price. I'm not really willing to ship this, as it is quite heavy. If buyer wishes to organise a courier then that's fine.
  10. spotted JDM01 in gtown today, late afternoon.
  11. i'd triple check for any leaks in the inlet my squeals like a baby being used as a squeaking toy when coming onto boost, but the reasoning behind that is im using a panel filter (stuck a pod on it to test and it stopped) so possibly restriction from the filter onwards?
  12. Just thought I'd say hi after being exposed at the vic sushi meet...so howdy! roady-spec (thanks to Phatboy for the pic) Pretty much have a stock gtst with slightly upgraded bits and pieces here and there. Just taking care of this engine whilst I keep on the lookout for something with more balls. Previous owner had the paint job done satin black 2pac and the car was missing a few bits that i've managed to track down. Cheers!
  13. even if i ate seafood i would have been too scared to put my hand anywhere near that plate...talking about destroying them and anything nearby! was good to put some faces to names anyway, place was awesome! thanks charles!

yeah ive seen them around too, not real underground when you drive like d!ckheads and couldn't have physically fit a larger sticker on the car...
  15. As the title suggests, I'm after a complete RB26DET with a manual gearbox (will also need everything box related, clutch pedal etc). I'd like something in good condition and I'm not in any big rush to locate one. Would prefer Vic to pickup... cheers, stix
  16. I might come up just for the meet (not dinner and if I don't get lost!) Anyone from south that I can meet and follow...lol!
  17. I can recommend Johnny Macs, he is a good bloke and fixed my exhaust on previous car (after another exhaust place botched it) also did the exhaust on the skyline. If you look at any of the cars in there you know they are serious (not to mention they are regulars out at drags) This the exhaust he was talking about? http://www.xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/29
