I think the thing to do is copy the pics off your iPhone onto a PC, grab a coffee, and write a slow, careful post sitting at a normal-sized keyboard in front of a monitor. Nobody's going to be able to make sense of a complicated request if it's done in text-speak at 400kph! Good luck.

You mean PUSHING rather than pulling, don't you? Pull and you could break it. Somewhere here this has been diagnosed as a 'dry' solder issue with the speedo connection. If you pull the gauge cluster and redo the solder, all should be good. However, the trip-meter reset trick (pushing!) is a decent workaround.

Folks: All this offset stuff messes with my poor old head... I have an R33 GTS-T at the stock height. I'm looking at some old Rays GT2s in 17" x 8.0" all round, with +33 offset. No troubles with those? Any other thoughts? Thanks! -

How did these wheels turn out for you in the end? I'm also looking at 17x9 +22s for my R33 GTS-T, but don't want to make a mistake with all that cash... David -

So what happened to the PM function here? Wouldn't that be better than just threadshi**ing this poor guy's thread? -

If they're still going at the end of the week, I'm definitely interested. (Just got to get some cash together.) I'm in the Upper Mountains, by the way: Blackheath! -
Well, 1 1/2 Bathursts anyway. (So how DID 1991 finish...?) Thanks to Terry and everyone for organising it: lots of fun. My son had a ball. David

"A motorist has been clocked speeding at 215km/h in western Sydney. Police say the 33-year-old South Penrith man - who had a female passenger - drove his high-powered sports car at almost twice the 110 km/h speed limit on the M4 motorway near Colyton about 11.55am (AEST) on Thursday. A highway patrol officer was about to pursue the Nissan Skyline when the driver pulled over and surrendered himself to police. Assistant Commissioner John Hartley said he was amazed at such lunacy. "I cannot believe the stupidity of some motorists and the dangers they put other drivers and members of the public in," Assistant Commissioner Hartley said in a statement on Saturday. "This man has shown a blatant and total disregard to the law and the safety of his female passenger and other motorists. "At these incredible speeds a car can become an out-of-control missile and leave a path of destruction - it's a miracle no-one was hurt or killed." The man's license has been suspended and he will appear in Blacktown Local Court next month." AAP http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/driver-clocked-s...0814-123ux.html

Very, very cool car. Good luck with the sale. -
Saw a very nice white R33 GTS-T S1 driving west on Elizabeth Drive, round Cecil Hills, this evening. Very clean. And on the subject of dickheads, some tool in a black Sylvia with a bodykit was desperate to race me down the Lapstone Hill at the bottom of the Blue Mountains the other morning, around 9-10am, in heavy traffic. Brilliant idea... He went off down the M4 doing maybe 160. Wonder how long that license lasts.

http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor-news/...0728-10v4v.html "The most common makes of car impounded by Victoria Police are – Holden (46.3 per cent); Ford (16.7); Nissan (7.8); Toyota (5.1); and Honda (4.3)." So there you have it. Commodore drivers really are the biggest hoons...

Is this really the right place for this topic? Shouldn't political canvassing belong elsewhere?

Spotted a white R34 GTT (I think) while I was coming in to Lithgow from down the Mid-Hartley Rd (great twists!), and he was going the other way. I flashed the headlights; he gave thumbs-up.

So far as I can see the 'chemistry' on Top Gear amounts mostly to Clarkson treating everybody else (including the audience) like sh*t. It's fun for about 15 minutes and then his whole mid-life crisis thing gets very tiring. 5th Gear is definitely dull, but it is informative. The assessments aren't plain stupid, like Clarkson's. (English is good just because it's English - even when it's really German or American. Nissans are just Datsuns - and when did the Japanese know anything about sports cars? etc etc etc etc etc.) And yes, 5th Gear has the fab Vicky. Never heard anybody sound more like they're having an orgasm just driving a car...

Saw a white R33 S1 GTST stopped by police in Penrith tonight, on Henry St, just up from the Sinclair Ford dealership. They had the bonnet up, and were walking around it, defecting everything in sight. Sad.
