  1. PM sent on the boost controller
  2. Hmmm. Think about it... Nice car, though.
  3. It's very simple. It's just behind the swim complex in Katoomba. Just park in the carpark, and keep walking. And yes, you can walk the whole length of the track. You could probably drive in if you could force the old gate, but that's probably not a wise idea. It's a bit of a time-tunnel. Old start and finish lines, signage, old ads, etc etc. Blue Mountains City Council would never re-open it. Cheap nasty little bastards don't even want to keep the civic pools open, and won't mow or maintain the sports ovals properly. So we can forget Catalina. For what it's worth, it got its name from the old Catalina seaplane that used to live in the swimming-pool next door, in the years after WWII.
  4. Yep, I had the same trouble. That little hose just gets brittle with age. Also causes a vacuum leak, which harms the boost as well. A few bucks worth of hose from Autobarn should do it!
  5. Stock snorkel (for the airbox)?
  6. Where are you? Somewhere or other in Sydney, judging by the street sign...
  7. Wrong forum, too...
  8. I was wondering the same thing...
  9. Given that nearly all our cars are probably illegal, I can't see how it makes sense to be anything other than polite to the cops. It's dumbass hoons and tailgaters I can't be bothered to be polite to...
  10. While we're on the subject. It's 'grammar'. Sounds like a great day all round. Wish I hadn't been working...
  11. Error codes?
  12. Hey Glenn. I'll drop by and ask you some advice soon. Nice S2, by the way... David
  13. * CoolingPRO 600x300x76 Frount Mount Intercooler (2.5' Outlets) - $150 (BRAND NEW & Unused) What vehicle is the FMIC for? Thanks.
  14. Four of us ran into each other at Penrith AutoBarn this evening (Thursday). Good to chat, fellas. I'm terrible with names, not to mention number plates. But there were four R33 GTS-Ts. White s2, Burgundy S2, Gunmetal-ish S1 and white S1 (mine). A good yarn, and some useful advice for the young bloke in the Burgundy S2, who's having misfiring problems, especially under boost. David
  15. I live at the top of the Blue Mountains in NSW, and we've had some very cold winter days. No such troubles with my R33 GTS-T S1, so, no, it's not standard behaviour. (Toyko's pretty cold too, isn't it?)
  16. Any more info on the intercooler? Do you have the pipes etc, or just the main body? David
  17. Hey Thizzle, What type Momo pedals are they?
  18. Amen
  19. Oh, for heaven's sakes. The world's full of would-be experts. Most of them 19. Just don't try some of this smart-ass advice at home. Where is it written that the police have to have printed evidence of your speed? Any more than that they have physical evidence of you running a red, or even driving dangerously (without hitting anything)? Don't admit to anything more than you were doing, and be respectful. But argue hot as hell if they try to make stuff up, obviously... It ain't rocket-science.
