Installed a rb20 wastegate on my car (R34 Rb25det neo) and its hitting boost but as soon as i go over lets say 5000rpm there is a power drop and it doesnt keep pulling as hard as it was between 3000-5000 (boost still stays at 10psi though). Ive got it plumbed up via the solenoid (which is earthed). Could it be that the solenoid is having some sort of affect? Think i might try removing the solenoid from the plumbing and see if that helps. Any info/help would be appreciated.

sorry about the crappy pics, if you want a serious look ill be more than happy to show you my car and give you a hand if need be. As i said my d2r connectors were chopped off (maybe during compliance) so the ballasts are still sitting in the bottom of the lights adding weight lol. All that needs to happen is for the + and - going to the original ballast to be chopped and either soldered or use spade terminals to connect to the new wiring harness on the new ballasts,from there its just drilling a hole in the back cover to fit the supplied grommet and your done. I picked up my hellegkit super cheap on ebay (less then a decent set of halogens) im not sure how much d2r bulbs are. PICS Pretty crappy pic but it shows the grommet in the cover plate on the back of the headlight (drivers side,pod is in the way of the other one) The Ballasts are mounted just under the headlights in the front bumper using the supplied brackets and a couple of zipties And this is what it looks like after the globes have warmed up for about 5 minutes,they go from a blue tinge to a bright white. Hope this gives you some insight,let me know if you want to have a closer look to how i did it and we can make a time.

When i got my 34 the D2r connectors were chopped off and i had standerd H1 bulbs,i mounted the ballasts in the front bar and drilled a hole in the back capping and used the grommet that came with the H1 kit to seal it. Not sure if they are any better than the D2r bulbs as i havent seen any before,but going from halogen H1 to H1 HID 6000k is a major difference. If you want some pics let me know,its not a hard job,took me about 3hrs but i pulled my headlights out,when i did the conversion in my 32 it only took about an hr.

Anyone know of a place in adelaide that will take them apart and clean the insides,there is something about putting my plastic lights in the oven im not comfortable with lol. Ive been using the PlastX which works a treat on the outside of the lense but there is water residue on the inside and its bugging me.

yeah those offsets sound about right.rims are in the back shed,will dig them out and take some snaps tomorrow.if you want i can also mms.pm me your number. Rims sat really flush on my 32 and they gave my 34 a pretty tuff look. Would love to put them on my car but having had 2 "chats" with police officers in the last week i mite try and stay off the radar lol

Had these on my old 32 and was going to transfer onto my new car but i think ill attract to much attention. 18" 5x114.3 (nissan,ford etc) they have nismo centre caps Fronts are 8.5" wide Rears are 9.5" wide Practically brand new rear tyres (drove on for less then a week) Fronts are starting to look a little low but still above wear indicator. A few weeks back i was in a accident and my car has now been classified a financial write off. Nissan Skyline R32 GtsT 1993 Black RB20DET 5spd Manual Exedy Ceramic cusioned button clutch (very nice clutch) Clutch master replaced les than 10000km ago Clutch slave re-sealed les than 10000km ago Aircon requires a new TX valve (thermal expander) Heater works a treat Aircon was regassed december 09 GTR Injectors ADJ Cam gears FMIC (slightly damaged from accident,no leaks) Walbro fuel pump Splitfire coil packs RE-Tuned ECU @ Speedlab @ 12psi car was making 160ish kwatw Allways run on BP Ultimate or Vortex 98 Serviced every 5000km with motul 8100 and new oil filter and new spark plugs The damage: I was hit from behind and pushed into the car in front of me. Front and rear bars are pretty mangled but could be repaired ( Vertex style kit) front and rear reo's would need replacing Front left headlight has small crack in mounting,nothing major. Bonnet has been pushed up a bit and has small dents on the front part Boot would need replacing Rear body section would need to be pulled out abit. Doors,boot and bonnet still open and close like normal,and the car drives straight. Mechanicaly A1 just a bit of cosmetic work. Car will come with no head unit or front speakers but 2 clarion splits mounted in pods in rear. Stock 15" rims (bald) Interior is pretty decent condish Front strut brace remote central locking and alarm HID 6000k low beem Car is still registered (just put 3mths on it) and still can be,for the car to be able to be fully comp insured again the car would need to have the body work done properly and then inspected by insurance company. They will insure you for 3rd party,fire and theft if the car is left the way it is or if its cosmetically fixed. Hate to see the car go but ive allready bought my new car and i dont have the room or the money to fix it.Would like to get rid of it as a whole rather than part it out bit by bit as its still drivable. $5000ono Will upload pics when im home. Sorry to bring up a old thread but ive been in a accident (not my fault) need the front and back done (samwidged between a volvo 4x4 and ford hatch back) need to get 2 quotes done (insured with just cars) ive been given silvers motor bodies address as i need to get a quote from them and a quote from a repairer of my choice, just wondering who would be a good crash shop to go to for this in adelaide? i dont want anything dodgy or substanderd done (nothing less for my line ) Any help will be most appriciated,PM is probably best as i dont come on here often to check all the threads. we got our cars done at tint a car (5 all up and we got a wicked discount saved over $120 per car for the bolle tint) the only issue that i had with the bolle (before i got it done) was that you had 2 choices a blue tinge or green tinge and having a black car both would have looked silly so i ended up getting the midnight one. The bolle tint doesnt distort images when wearing polarised glasses its crystal clear. if you want a black tint go for something other than bolle.

what do the tien springs fit? are they a set or just a pair? fronts/rears? thanks daniel
