  1. I wouldnt bother with the small walbro 255... May aswell go straight to the 450 for future proofing..
  2. Im currently sitting in the ~420kw bracket (same dyno as royce) with an r33 gtst so for argument sake say 1450kgs.. so in theory i should be running 130/135mph? I havent taken the car to the motorplex yet as i need to sort the diff and shafts out first but im very keen to have a shot and back up the figure hopefully. Surely torque has alot to do with the MPH.. a 400kw 25 would run slower then a 400kw 30 would it not? Even a 100kg difference between cars would have to have quite a toll on the MPH surely.

  4. Was more a query then a statement... brand new turbo with earls inline oil filter... motor was abit of an unknown so it could be ring gap/rings lol...

Had my car on the dyno yesterday.. 570hp on 20psi, Built 25 with the gen 2 6266 t3 .82 Currently the car is blowing alittle smoke on idle (typical precision?) so i wanna get that sorted aswell as a cas syncing issue before turning it up alittle more... Other then that im stoked with how it drives and comes on

I have been having a similar issue for alittle while, sent the car to a garage for afew issues and asked them to look it over, was told the bushes where worn but not completely gone and that that was most likely the problem and getting them to replace them for me was a smart idea... I decided against it because the car is very rarely driven and it could wait.. Once I put the car on the hoist myself for a look it became quite apparent... Of the 5 drivers side driveshaft bolts 1 was missing and the rest were finger tight... For good measure I installed a HICAS delete kit and some subframe collars to lock the standard bushes untill i plan on pulling the rear subframe.. But the loose shaft was most likely 99% of the problem
  7. Ive decided to go with the gen 2 6266 with a t3 .82 rear on my basic built 25 (cams,springs,studs and forged).. I already had a manifold otherwise i would have liked to go the .82 T4 twinscroll.. but none the less ill be pushing it and hoping to post some decent results in the coming months.. the decision between the 62mm and the 64mm was tough but i decided to go with a slightly more street friendly turbo as after RW17 it will be mainly used around town...
  8. Id love to hit the 500kw mark if not higher without having something that has huge lag, engine is being built atm, nitto 3.2l kit, 26 ported head 280's etc.
  9. Keen to see results simon, any idea how long it will be untill its all bolted up? Does anyone have any results from the 6766 or 7175 on an RB26 or RB30DET? would like to know roughly what responce they have, still tossing up between the 6466, 6766 or 7175 . . half of me wants responce, the other half wants power

  17. possible turbo, i had the same sort of problem, but i had two cracked pistons, just hope its the turbo

  22. i seem to be geting this problem aswell, although my s1 r33 seems to spitt out white moke after backing off aswell. havent changed anything yet, coils,plugs probly, could a buggerd turbo be causing all the white smoke??
