After watching that clip I am absolutely disgusted by those lebs, just like i'm sure all the rest of the Australian viewers where. The "fully sick habibs" deserve whats coming to them, I'm sure that the only thing stopping the cops from ruining their night was not their badge and gun, but the media cameras. Most car enthusiasts I know are actually intelligent people who have real jobs (ie dont push drugs), families and are honest hard working people. Relating the kind of behaviour of this scum to car modifiers is rubbish journalism. It is comparable to saying because a serial killer stored all his victims body parts in the walls of his house, all home owners doing house renovations require mandatory inspections by police. It makes no sense and is insulting to anyone with more than a high school level of intelligence. Woohooo! I Finally got the HICAS light to come on. After driving down the freeway for 10-20 minutes it just appeared. My car isnt stupid after all I'm taking the boss kit back to autobarn and swapping it for the ON-110 tommorow. I am assuming the Super HICAS 12 oclock six oclock r32 GTR's must be a vspec thing...

screw styling, pred.. spending $300+ on some front bar could go towards performance mods. paint your bonnet lever black (and anything else you can) and go for some black mesh and your stylin' for less than 25 bucks.

pred: maybe take out the latch and anything else in there you can unbolt.. sand all the grime and shit off it and spray paint it all black?

Doing a "perfect launch" really depends on a lot of things like driver skill, tyre stickiness, clutch bite.. it really comes down to getting a feel for your car. You'll get out of yours and into your mates r33 and it will be different enough for you to relearn it and attack the launch slightly differently I guess mate. Do a few practice launches around 3500-4000rpm and work on how quickly and smooth you are at letting at the clutch and applying the power. Now go practice that on some v8's

The HICAS thing is very interesting. I have spent hours trawling through all the information on here that I can about HICAS through searching for just that keyword. What blows me away is the HICAS "plate" on the boss kit I bought, code: ON-115 is set up so the white pins insert at the 12 oclock, six oclock position. But on my stock steering wheel it is set up as 2 oclock, 7 oclock. Which is how it is on the ON-110 boss kit, that Lucien has. (Theres a diagram on the box that shows them, I will get a picture of this for anyone else that finds this thread looking for HICAS info) I have had not had any noticeable problems with the steering, but when I threw the car into HICAS diagnostics mode, I did get an error, but I am not sure what code its for (havent spent much time on it yet tbh).. yet i get no HICAS light. I am pretty sure its the speed sensor, or the cable to it (is it no. 54?) because I am having some problems with the speedometer at the moment which can be read about here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=1318787

Hey Guys, My cars speedo sometimes gets a bit enthusiastic when I start the car after its had a chance to cool down etc. It seems to be displaying 10x the speed until the car is warmed up and i've turned it on and off a few times, tried disconnecting the battery etc. I'll be chugging down the road at 22km an hour and it will be showing 220km/hr!! It only does this occassionally first thing in the morning and once the car has warmed up it starts working again.. what could it be? Why x10??? Thanks

Get a black top Sr20.. more modern engine, more powerful.. the only thing that the rb20 has going for it is that its cheap and sounds l33t. Though I think the sr20 sounds awesome when its set up on a 3" straight-through

well have you checked the cat? get underneath the car and give it a smack with your fist.. if you can hear the bits of sh*t rattling around inside it when you tap it, get a hi-flo cat.
