  1. its all about enjoying life and that is all.. Everybody wants to be with someone who makes life enjoyable..
  2. pffft..ii think its more to do with getting your heart rate up and feeling alive and enjoying being alive that does..has nothing to do with looking good unless your vanity gets you off.. Think how many people get loaded up on drugs or booze and look like shit but they dont care cause they feel great and thus their confidence levels are up..they pick up heaps of girls too
  3. it looked sweet and didnt get defected..win win.... style, is dictated by function
  4. so what stopped you from using it??
  5. Found it.. REDLINE SHOCKPROOF There are concerns about using REDLINE SHOCKPROOF type gear oils inside manual transmissions. While this is truly an excellent product, it has been found that the heavy Teflon-like particles are quickly centrifuged out of the oil and will build up inside the center diff housing and around the synchronizers and inside of the gearshafts. After several oil changes this build up may block oiling passages inside the gearshafts that lubricate the needle bearings and can reduce the overall effectiveness of the synchronizers, leading to poor shift quality. Also this oil is has too high of a viscosity for winter use. Therefore we do not suggest using SHOCKPROOF in the transmission unless the transmission is to be serviced often or a dog box. most here using it seem to not have any worries though..probably cause most service regularly..I'm def gunna try it next time..
  6. pretty sure i read somewhere that the secret ingredient in redline shockproof is also teflon.. I put 2 tubes of that nulon shit in my box with castrol mineral oil, it didnt make any difference in everyday driving at all...however after a bit of spirited driving once the box is well warmed up it is really nice to shift..so yeah i dunno
  7. the fitment is so neat with that cooler that it looks awesome..I like the cheeky little polished pipe sticking out..no need to paint it.. So was the bar new or second hand..would look even better with some 400r skirts
  8. the 17x9.5 +18s all round should probably work a treat then..235/45s are cheap and plentiful too
  9. where can i get this bar from....
  10. do we have a dedicated " Stance " thread...maybe we should start one if we dont already
  11. blags quest for the perfect fitment, you could write a thread about it..lol.. I dunno but im more of a tuck than a poke man so my opinion may be different to yours and others I think rim should be close as possible to flush with guard, tyre size is determined by what will then fit under the guard without too much stretch. And stretch front and rear should be even..having a rear stretched more than the front looks unbalanced..and rather silly IMO..camber should also be close as possible to even front and rear.. in your case from a stance only view, I think the 17 fornt 18 rear worked really well and what it needed was a better bodykit to make it all work without the need for excessive lowering.. i havent been to stance nation for a while so maybe im outta touch
  12. what are the chances of buying one somewhere
  13. i dont think they're too bad for a quick job.. if you want to get carried away you could get all the bolts/parts replated or chromed, deburr the casting marks etc and powdercoat the calipers they would look much better than new.. its not worth the effort in my case...buts its good to practice, never know I may have a worthy vehicle oneday.. i did the fronts this arvo, didnt bother pulling them in half though..
  14. i can defog my wimdscreen in 5 seconds by winding my window down so y should i need either
  15. I ordered a black one but got this awesome metallic red one in the mail instead.. Even though nobody sees it I feel it would be a crime to paint over it..
  16. so if hicas has to be there does that mean I would have to reinstall my air con for a RWC

  20. when you come around the bend there is a retirement village with a pedestrian crossing to the bustop. so naturally they dont want anyone speeding through there..makes sense to me

  22. nah thats western port hwy..frankston dandy rd is the next one over.. There is nothing on it but a few old farm houses an old helicopterand a cemetry..
  23. did you know that tupac copied that song..i noly hheard the original the other day on some AM radio station
  24. yeah the old roundabout was good you could really nail it through..the new ones alot bigger and its not that it slows you down alot but you dont have the same momentum coming out of it. So where the old one you would slingshot out of, the new one you have to power out of, kind of killed the fun of it....
  25. yeah heading north through thompsons rd roundabout theres a nice stretch where '(dare i say it) its safe to open it up a little..but some silly buggers forget to slow down
