  2. I've bought a few thinks from Prajash he's an honest seller and able to track down rare JDM stuff with ease. I'll buy from him again. Remember post from overseas to Australia takes time.
  3. Hi Mate I have an ARC Super Induction Air Box too, if your filters are in one piece you should just wash the by hand and let them dry. I've been washing mine and it works fine, just don't rub the hell out of them and rinse them really well. You can get a filter washing kit made by K&N, it comes with 2 bottles of stuff one to wash and one to re-oil, just use the one to wash I don't think they need to be re-oiled I've never oiled mine. These are the 2 sizes you need for the ARC box: A - 236 x 200 C - 170 x 125 These are the measurements from ARC. I think this K&N Land Rover Discovery V8 Filter will replace the larger one (A) 33-2119 but since I've been washing mine I've haven't tried this one. I spent a few hours going through the filter search on the K&N web site when I first got the ACR box. The small © size filter on the front will be a problem I can't find one even close on the K&N site, you can get custom made filters from K&N but I think this would be expensive - I could be wrong as I've never asked for a price. You will be able to get the K&N 33-2119 from Ebay cheaper than a store here in Australia. If you try the 33-2119 can you post here if it fits the top of the ARC box? Cool Andy
  4. Is the oil on the inside or out side of the filter? Is your engine leaking oil? I had a oil leak near my power steering which was getting blown by the engine fan over into one of my pods...one pod was clean and the other including the AFM was oily Just a thought..

  6. I know everyone here is running exhaust systems that are legal and under 90db so this will be interesting reading... http://smh.drive.com...0209-1rx45.html The Cops hang out down at Woolloomooloo next to Harry's Pies most Saturday nights... Cowper Wharf Road also closes to all except Taxis and residents at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays so unless you really need a rat filled pie it is best not to head down there - it a dead end with a defect...
  7. +1
  8. Yeah the little grub screw on the very end is a 1/8 pressure or temp sensor point. The big gold one is the same but you need to use this adapter to convert to 1/8. http://www.frsport.com/Greddy-16400720-M18-Thread-1-8-NPT-Sensor-Gauge-Adapter_p_16528.html
  9. $400 NSW http://www.skylinesa...-parts-bonanza/ - might be a little late!
  10. There is an EPA handbook - from 1992 RB26 is 5100rpm RB25 is 4900rpm (or 4700rpm) RB20 is 4700rpm (or 4500rpm) These all seem very high...and from 20 years ago...I'll call the EPA tomorrow and see if its all still the same. 1st gear @ 5100 in an RB26 and your over a 50km/h speed limit - all inner city roads in Sydney are 40-50km/h...this seems ridiculous. Most cars will be getting close to or over a 50km/h speed limit at these RPMs. How are they able to justify a noise issue which I am guessing is related to car noise in inner city suburbs when if your revving this hard your already breaking the speed limit... You all know what happens when you grab 2nd @ 5100 too...well over a 50km/h speed limit... Madness it make no practical sense to test at these high RPMs - any lawyers out there...
  11. Can anyone confirm the RPM used for the EPA/Sound?noise level test? It would be good to get this from someone that has been tested recently - not Ive heard or I think... the actual RPM tested.
  12. Just a quick question..... Does anyone know what this (marked in RED) is on the Greedy/GREX Oil Filter Relocator block? Cool Thanks Andy
  13. The Just Jap 42mm is good as well.
  14. +1 for the Chinese (Just Jap) 42mm - no shroud - standard fan - 75-80 in traffic - 73-75 while driving - monitored with a Blitz R-VIT.
  15. Good guy, goods as described, well packed, fast courier, easy to deal with. Would recommended to all.

  16. Fair point. Not all Police are as open to good manners and you may be. I'm not trying to pick a fight here but that gray area can be expensive. Cool - I'll be as charming as possible next time I'm pulled over! PS. Most cops are smarter than 3 yr olds!!!!
  17. the laws... It shouldn't be up to you - it should be the same every time for every one. Either an engineers certificate is enough to make a vehicle or modification roadworthy or it isn't, your personal judgment should have no influence on the laws you are enforcing.
  18. This is terrifying... I guess they're just making it up on the spot...
  19. Hi Dave The hoses are pretty cheap on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Silicone-Engine-Breather-Hose-Skyline-GTR-R32-R33-R34-/300593816589?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45fcc9a40d Its got 'make an offer' so you might get them cheaper than the asking price. Cool Andy
