  1. So the question then is: What size oil restrictor is in the head of your motor?

From memory I think is was the 0.9 that was in the original build unless he changed it.

I think there was a lot of other factors for the improvement, 5 pounds less boost now runs 20 psi for 355 rwkw, shimed oil pump, standard cams back in that lowered the RPM, better built engine with a much better ring seal and tolerances and a few other little tricks. Just a much better package.

Never had a problem since, not even a drop of oil in the catch can.

  2. Built right you shouldn't need an external drain. I cannot think of one GTR that see's circuit work down here running one - and that's from all workshops.

I used to run an external drain and an N1 pump that shattered on my GTR, with two built engines when pushed it would soak the fillter on my catch can with oil.

My new engine builder Simon Gishus from Nizpro, during the rebuild he refused to reinstall the external oil drain for his own personal reasons.

I now run a Tomei oil pump with a calerbrated oil flow with no external oil drain and for the last two and a half years not a single drop of oil can be seen anymore comming from the catch can, I have had no problems at all with this setup.

  3. So all of us low income earners are lazy? I'll remember that if you ever come into my work wanting help. I'll simply say "you're a smart uni boy, you figure it out yourself".

I think you need to learn to differentiate been low income earners and dole bludgers. Not everyone is able to go to uni. Not everyone wants to. I'm a uni dropout. I was doing surveying and found it as boring as anything. there is no uni course that I would want to do. I would rather have my low paying job that I thoroughly enjoy, than be some pencil pusher doing something I hate. if I wanted more money I'd get a job I'm the mines where I could earn more than a lot of people who went to uni.

As for liberal costings, why would they bother revealing their costings? The previous election labor (lead by Kevin "me too" Rudd) just took liberal policies, scribbled out liberal at the top, took out the good bits and tried to pass them off as their own

Hey Marc so we actually agree on something for a change! So you do have a sole after all lol..good on ya.

Costings....Come on Marc get real, regardles of political preferances or policies show a bit of dash, you know very well that this was to mislead the public which includes you aswell, they couldn't fund their election promises and tried to hide it. This should never be allowed to happen again.

  4. You obviously don't have the intelligence to appreciate the fact that the thread was a satirical reply to another forum member's thread about his car crash.

Oh I got it all right, you obviously don't have the intelligence to realise I'm pointing out that in this thread and that thread all you've shown is negativity and sarcasm in your short stay on this forum so far. I mean mothers in night clubs opening their legs, scumbags and low income earners, mate I could buy and sell you ten times over so pull up with this crap, what makes you so great?

The mud slinging has been done to death in this thread, I think your the man who can show us the way yeah.

Now, I will ask you again, since both partys have pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 5% by 2020, can you please explain to all of us how the Liberal Party intend on doing this with their action plan by 2020, what are they going to do? and who will be funding this and how?

Can you please explain to all of us why the Liberal Party refused to reveal its cost estimates to Treasury and the Australian public during the last election campgain? dont make this hard mate just answer the question without trying to be a smartie if you can.

  5. lmfao at the Obama reference, we all know Nth Americas policies regarding emissions reduction is self serving and nothing more. How does it go, f**k your future.... we're ok, yeah that's it.

f**k obama, f**k nth American politics and policy.

I think you need to tend to your "Some jerk just pulled out in front of me thread" Lol..... Check it out guys.

  6. ** outrageous, not outrage's **

You must have been taking lessons from Juliar on how to avoid dealing with an issue, very clever! I ask you again, how is Juliar ensuring that the big bad polluters actually reduce their emissions? Is taxing them really going to reduce carbon emissions? I put it to you that in reality one of two things will happen:

    1. The big bad polluters will continue to pollute in Australia and will simply pass the tax on to consumers in their pricing; or
    2. The big bad polluters will find that they can be more profitable by moving their industry offshore, saving money on the carbon tax and lower wages.

So there you have it, increased cost of living for Australians who are not low income earners or job losses. Congratulations Comrade Juliar, another win!

If you want to know more about the Coalitions alternative, I suggest you start by downloading and reading their Direct Action Plan. You may be surprised to know that Obama also now supports direct action in the US rather than an ETS.

Your kidding me right! is that your answer? Lol....

  7. So you completely avoided the main point of my post that Julia has no credibility and has brought about an end to the reign of both the Federal and Queensland Labor Government. That is ok, let me ask you a question since you are so worried about who will pay for carbon reduction schemes, who pays under the carbon tax? The big bad polluters right? WRONG! The tax is just classic left wing wealth redistribution tactics. Take money from the people who work the hardest and give it back to the scumbags who don't. That's right, in conjunction with the tax she announced tax breaks for lower income earners in Australia. Of course the big bad polluters will refuse to wear this extra tax so they pass it down the line to us in higher charges. But it's ok for low income earners because they have been subsidized for the increases so it means that those on higher incomes are left to foot the bill. Wealth redistribution at its finest.

If you care to read my posts (March 02, 2.39pm) which I assume you have, I've already stated Gillard (Labour) should have stuck to their election promise of a no carbon tax so no avoidence there!

Also included was a list of lies from Abbott and the Liberal party that no so called outraged person's has bothered to confront or explain, so no avoidence there hey?

The Australian public need to know what they are voting for from both sides of Politics! To say that the Liberal party has not had a history of misleading the public is outrage's.

Now, back to you yet again! Since both Labour and the Liberal Goverment have pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 5% by 2020 and since the 500 big pollutors will not contribute to this or make any inovations or changers or support a new technology industry that apart from Germany would put us on the front foot world wide in the future.

Can you please tell me in detail, how the liberal party action plan intends to fund and implement this and how their going to reduce carbon emission by 2020 as they have pledged?

I'll start the ball rolling, Abbott plans on planting 20 Million trees across the county, now you can take over from here!

Can you also tell me why the Liberal party in a never before seen unprecedented move, refused to release their costing to the Treasury and the Australian public during their last election campgain? Why?

  8. Oh boo hoo. Demeaning means a loss of dignity or respect. Julia has neither. She lost any little shred of dignity she had when she sold her soul to the devil (Bob Brown) to form Goverment. She is a liar, she is manipulative and she is deceptive. She can't answer a single question put to her without running around in circles like a Chihuahua chasing its tail. She lied about the carbon tax, she lied about the foreign minister position. One thing I do have to thank Julia for is that she has driven the Labor party so far into the ground that there is absolutely no chance she can win them to another election win, you can etch that in stone. Another thing I have to thank her for is that she has helped play a big role in the Liberal whitewash that is about to happen tomorrow in Qld. Stick a fork in Julia, she's done.

Just like the Labour party, the Liberal party have pledged to reduce CO2 emissions by 5% by 2020.

I challenge you... and you too Terry. Instead of going down the path of cheap cynical mud slinging all the time, "why dont you explain to all of us in detail" the liberal party action plan policy and their costings and who's really going to pay for it? Abbotts plan will leave the big pollutors off the hook with no insentive for inovation or change so whos going to pay? (The independent Grattan institute has estimated that there is a $100 billion hole in Abbotts costing) Come on mate, lay it on the line.

I'll start the ball rolling with Abbotts plans on planting 20 Million trees around Australia Lol...and you can take over from there.

No bullshiting around, If you can do this you will be the first in this entire thread to do so, the balls in your court.

By the way, I'm still waiting for an answer (along with many others) from someone as to why the Liberals in a never before seen unprecedented move refused to list their election policy costings to the Treasury during the last election? Anyone interested in answering that one.

Its looking like their going down the same path again, I wonder why, Abbott wouldn't lie to us all would he?

  9. Absolutely Dave: every business that has their utility costs go up after 1/7/12 must charge more to keep their heads afloat!

If a cafe doesn't do that, it can end up cheaper to eat out than to cook at home!

Even hydro pot is bound to go up unless the electricity is siphoned off the grid!

Now why did I think of that?

45 billion dollars is currently being spent across the country on upgrading power grid infastructure which has sent prices though the roof in recent times and all you can talk about is the cabon tax raising the price of a latte?

  10. There was problems with the school halls program for sure, from memory there was a 6% blowout in cost overall, its just a shame that a lot of the good that it did was not relized by many, it created around 200,000 much needed jobs at a time that was needed to stimulate the economy on the brink of a recession and provided around 25,000 school projects around Australia that will be uttilized now and into the future.

The insulation scheme was a relatively cheap way to provide comfort and lower the need to use energy for many of the pensioners and low income earners and familys across Australia, it was rolled out to quick an could have been done better, it was destant to attract shonky operators with their workplace pratices and pricing, its a shame this undermind the many legitimate companys that did the job properly, it undermine the overall intention of the program that provided jobs at a time that was very much needed.

  11. I don't think we are on the same page, I was just giving an example, not comparing parties for their evils...I wasn't looking to spark a political debate...

Nuh thats cool birds, its just that this thread is calling and directly relating to Julia Gillard who happens to be a Labor Prime Minister a liar.

Lets not kid ourselves here, it has a very strong stench of Liberal party support and hypocrisy and no one should expect this not to be challenged or given a free ride.

The name Ju-liar was created by Alan Jones (shock jock) and is very demening, he is a very well known radical Liberal party supported with closed views who is let loose on the public.

I have posted several examples of lying from the other camp yet no bites, challenges or concerns to my claims and nor did I expect them.

If people are so concerned about lying well let them show it so I can take them more seriously.

  12. Because they know they can get away with it, because we let them. And because if they promised us realistic things, your average voter wouldn't vote for them. Lies sound much more appealing than the reality that living actually costs us money. Thus we vote for the best bedtime story, or the party our family told us we should vote for and have always voted for. It's the same logic behind the stimulus package we got a couple of years ago: here, take some money, help your economy, it's free*. Free!

*your children's children will be paying it back plus interest.

Your children's children would have been paying if we had slipped into a recession. Many of the Worlds best economist felt that this was a good move. I dont think Hockey fits into that catergory.

Yes we do let them lie, on both sides of politics.

Howard (with Abbott by his side) got away with it with "There will be no GST in a goverment I lead" This helped him win the election!

The Australian Wheat scandal, feeding the Iraki troops fighting our Diggers. The inquiry was limited to certain questions so the truth could never be proven on what really happened, not enough public outcry and a sham.

The Chidren over board lie and The Tamper Crises, this cover up helped him win an election with a fear campaign yet nearly all the refuges now live in Australia direct from Nauru?

The Carbon Tax, yes Gillard should have stuck with her election promise as it helped her win the election. Theres been plenty of public outcry on this one but the Australian public voted in a way not seen before.

Google the libral party 2010 action plan on climate control. It will shock you on how much it was going to cost us direct and let the big polluters off the hook, scott free!

Gillard stooged Willkie on poker reforms to gain his vote that helped her win the election, not much of a public outcry on that one?

The Gaming industry would have poured Millions into throwing her out so she shit herself.

Abbott also tried to stooge Willkie by promising him a Billion dollars to the Tasmanian Hospitals fund but fell short when he would not show his budget estimates to the Treasury during the last election which was 15 Billion in the red.

The Labor party has already reveled the guts of their policy's and costings that we can all pick shit at, but not the Liberal party?

Theres bad blood at the moment with the Carbon Tax and Abbott is trying keep us all focused on it, what we also need to realize is that Abbott wants to scrap the 100 Billion dollars savings to the public over the next 10 years from the Mining Tax, these companys are going to pour Millions into the Liberals election campaign and also want to revamp workchoices. Are we sheep?

ITS NOW TIME they start reveling some policys and costings so we can absorb it, not within 2 weeks of an election, we need to see policys and costings on what appears to be a 70 Billion dollar black hole in their budget so far so they can expain it to us. Wouldn't everyone like to see this????

Or are we just going to let them lie to us again....... Yes, it will be our fault.

  13. I've pretty much come to the realisation that Julia Gillard is the George W Bush of our country.

She is a complete moron, with lashings of lies, deceit and a passion for self-preservation then promotion of her leadership.

North Korea is handling it's shit better then this country.

Just wondering, have you read the Coalitions action plan for climate change in the 2010 Election? The big polluters are getting off scott free with no insentive for change so why should they.

Apart from wanting to plant 20 Million trees, have a little read of this, its going to cost the tax payer Billions.

Guess who's going to pay for this?

  14. I got a quote from Chris this time last year. From dumps back is was $4,650. If you have ever heard their 4 inch systems you can appreciate the work that goes into those babies. My twin 3 inch RP system seems a little louder on idle, but from inside the car when giving it hell all you can hear are the turbo's going nuts.

Wow, if might be time for a career change!

  15. no they are more likely going to go to a DOHC engine, like used in the DTM

Maybe, but what's Nissan get out of this? They need to sell cars.

The article states "Nissan were last in the (series) in 1992" and that was with a six cylinder GTR, it would make much more sence rating wise to put in a competitively tuned six cylinder GTR rather than something nobody knows, besides it wouldn't be in the correct production car format.

    Fingers crossed.
