Coilpacks probably on their way out with the lumpy acceleration. You also need to clean the airflow meter and idle air control valve that could be causing lumpy idle. With the fuel economy probably it's time to change the oxygen sensor also. You've bought into a lot of problems unfortunately, but most of it you can fix yourself and then get it to a mechanic to iron out any further issues and get it tuned. Good luck!

Two of my friends had it done. Good results. However it is odd that the ophthalmology clinics that I had attended as a student afew years ago all the consultants wore glasses (probably because if laser surgery screws up then they are out of work lol).

Same as everyone else my clutch slipped in 2nd whilst trying to overtake a truck. Scared the pants off me. Burnt clutch smell took a week to go away after I had an exedy HD clutch put in. I regret going HD... daily driving it was too heavy in stop start traffic.

Can get Toyota Aurion ATX with less than 100k on the clock they will go forever. 200kw power!

Agreed with Beer Baron. I'd still have my gtr now if I bought a good one in the first place. Such a shame really. Now I'm driving a Toyota. Seriously looking into getting an r34 gtr auto for long drives to work.

Oil differing opinions - 10-40w oil usually gets the nod. Motul/Royal Purple seem to be the premium pick. I prefer Royal Purple as it comes in 5L bottles of which I use 4.5L and then the rest as top up. Motul 4L bottles annoying lol I haven't tried the cheaper ~$50-60/bottle oils but for an old engine and frequent oil changes it shouldn't matter too much. Plenty of oil change tutorials. Good luck.

Pull the ciggy socket out and test the wire connection with a multimeter to see if you're getting any power. I was dumb enough to solder a 12V 10inch LCD screen to the ciggy wires as power supply... it went up in smoke

I'm no expert but as people have mentioned, it only takes one cell that has lost its programmed cell death (apoptosis) to rapidly divide to cause cancer. I'd be scared shitless living in Japan, imagine you had an apple and then a week later it's 'oh by the way apples are also on the irradiated list' ... I'd be spewing...

Does that mean if you get a clutch replaced then gear oil also gets replaced?

Mine does a similar thing. 18 and it's cold, any other temp and this motor behind the dash kicks in intermittently blowing warm/cold air. It's so annoying. Also that sensor behind the dash I have also seen whilst fiddling behind the dash hehe

Alright so I bought another cluster today off a guy on ebay... i asked him if it was for r33 gtr he said yes, fkn sends me a gst-t one and will not accept returns since he got bank deposit for it. So I had 1 gtr cluster with a crazy tacho, another gtr cluster with odometer/trip meter not working... pissed off I pulled the working tacho off one and put it in the other. In the process I also put in LED lights. Works like a charm now, was just too lazy to open shit up.

My odometer and trip meter sudden stopped working after I pressed the reset trip meter button afew times as the car was moving. I have another cluster with a tacho that goes crazy. What's up with these cars and the cluster screwing up... I might be able to switch some parts around and I'll finally have a fully working cluster again.

Yeh it's not my legs that are weak lol it's the bottom of my foot that gets sore towards the end of the week. I have no choice where I work currently driving from Bankstown to Manly/Mona Vale it's just a part of hospital rotations lol In 3 weeks time I'll be off to Lismore for 3 months and I will drive up there. I'm a bit concerned about leaving the car at the airport there when I head back to Sydney for the weekend... pretty sure it's gonna get stolen

I fill up almost twice a week. Luckily the weather has been OK and I haven't had to use the aircon much. I agree it makes no economic sense to keep battling heavy stop-start traffic with a twin turbo lol

Hey guys, Ever since I got an Exedy heavy duty clutch professionally installed, clutch pedal feels quite heavy especially after 2 hrs drive each way to work. Would a nismo slave cylinder make any difference? What other ways can I make the clutch pedal lighter? Also, quite irrelevant to topic, but is there any suspension that I can put on to make the ride softer than the standard r33 gtr suspension? Cheers!
