went down to see the progress today. just waiting on my mate to email me the pics. during this week: -custom crossmember and custom engine mounts were made -engine was prepped and dropped in place -the coilovers and slotted rotors that i supplied are installed -put on a T70 turbo -hicas lock bar installed by next weekend when i go down next, most of the wiring will be done, fmic will be installed, and exhaust will probably be done. -

skylines still in the shop. apparently they been a bit busy, dont really care so not rushing them. crossmember and custom engine mounts are done. engine will be in and mostly wired by end of week. Organised with nizzpro to get a rwc done there, so i can drive it home wootwoo!! -

woohoo coilovers arrived 2day!!! got everything i need to put in. am taking the 32 to nizzpro this saturday hopefully be on the qr track at powerplay in june -

woot got my rda slotted rotors 2day got a defi boost gauge with link controller to (2nd hand off ebay) gonna be ringing up nizzpro 2moro to find out when i can drop my car in -
have u tuned the amps?

boost one is the 3 pin.

bought a 2nd hand defi-link controller + boost gauge. but iv noticed that where the boost sensor wire plugs into the unit, the white plastic casing around the pins is missing (pins are still intact). and also the plug on the end of the boost sensor is missing. would an electrical place have these plastic bits?

ohk haha thanks for clearing that up. haven't looked into mod plates before so this is a first for me lol. CTP - im pretty sure that you just have to sort that out before you go get the rego sorted so all good cheers buddy

just wondering what documentation i need to register my r32 in about a months time after i get a 1jz put in. i bought the car as a rolling shell (no engine, no diff, had been out of rego for a while). this is what i think i need: -rwc -completed rego form -hand written receipt from the guy i bought it off (has vin number on it) engine will be mod plated etc. is there anything else that i may need in this situation? cheers

just priced up from that site. front and rears in 4000 series comes to $800. the street series was about $600. bit more then $500

im looking at which brand of slotted rotors to get for my r32 gtst. iv found dba slotted rotors to be around $480 for the ronts, and about $400 for the rears. but rda's seem to be around $500 for both front and rears. car is mainly being used for a bit of track/ mostly drifting. and a little spirited driving over the mountains. would rda's be suitable even though they're cheaper?

yes it will mainly be used on track, but is also gonna be registerd so i can drive it to the track, or spirited drives over the hills . i picked the shell up for about 1.5g, and im getting everything else i need for about 10g. way i look at it, 11g for a kinda different car is well worth it

yer mate il shoot u a pm when its up and running. meet up some time and we can take it 4 a spin not going to be a daily driver so im not worried. imma going single turbo, just my personal preference lol

rang nizzpro back up yesterday and told them that the 1jz was what i wanted done. my reasons being that i started this hole project with wanting a 1jz and if i had decided to go a rb25, i wouldv just sold the shell and bought a r33 (which i wasn't really interested in, because i much like the 32 better). so by powerplay in may it should be on the track burning some rubber cheers for the input 1jz no shit

cheers for the input. im going to ring them back up on monday and get a price on the 1jz conversion then compare to see how much difference there is. im kinda leaning back 2wards the 1j tho. see what happens i guess
