  1. Slide, that pic is gold. Mona, Ohhh.... Oh.... Adrian
  2. And I'm glad the ricey nos runs were entertaining. That's what they're for. Adrian
  3. HOLY CRAP!!!! Of all the nights to go to bed early.... Okay, a few points: 1/ I made 265kW on the standard turbo. If I had two too many runs on the dyno then consider that on my second run I made 256kW. 2/ Laurie, mate I have pm'd you about the 'old prick' comment and explained for your benefit who it was directed to. I think almost everyone who had the piss pulled out of their car by this tool knows who I meant anyway. Sorry for the confusion. 3/ I didn't drive 4 hours there and back, spend $25 on tolls, use a full tank of fuel and a whole day of my time to NOT WIN! The social aspect of the day is the best part (with the harmless gee-ups and shit-stirring) but come on. 4/ It's supposed to be a fun day with good people and until I read this thread this morning, that's what I thought I'd had. Brad makes a great point: "...if anyone is after an accurate power figure they are best to go to WSID and go by MPH or put their engine on an engine dyno..." 5/ Thanks again for everyone involved for making it a great day; Adam and Jase from SAU, John, Ben and the guys from UAS, Andrew from Turbosmart, Stuart from Bezerkly Automotive, Ignition DVD Magazine, all the guys'n'gals from SAU who are just in it for the giggles and anyone else I've forgotten. Adrian
  4. Nice. Speak to Ben who was running the dyno about that one. Either way my first run was enough. The nitrous runs were all for show Adrian
  5. You can't run consistent 11's using Nitrous Oxide? Ahem!
  6. Not having a shot at your car, effort or the manner in which the day was run - just suggesting that there were some curious figures. Adrian
  7. I know Mona.... I know...
  8. Seems to me that the air-temp sensore may have been on the way out earlier in the day. Not taking anything away from anyone in particular but does anyone think that a stock 25 can make 175kW on 9psi and stock ECU? Or that a stock RB20 can make 185kW on 10psi with a stock ECU? Confusing but don't know that it would've affected results or not... Adrian
  9. ROFL @ reverse offset grind!
  10. Brett was there very earlyand made 372kW with his de-stroked RB18DET.
  11. He rawked!
  12. "Johnny Jetski"
  13. Oh, did anyone else notice the customer name on the dyno graph when the slot-car was running??? Adrian
  14. Ricer F*&k! Adrian
  15. Forget the oil, mate. We parked our cars behind the dyno cell and opened the fuel doors. We got a free top up of 110 octane Martini ULP. Adrian
  16. Wait wait wait.... Very happy with that too! Adrian
  17. I was a little bit confused about the stock turbo, un-opened RB20's running 180+kW @ 10psi w/std ecu... WTF?!?!? Then mine running 190kW - which is about spot on btw. Confusing but happy with the red Turbosmart hat nonetheless. Adrian
  18. Bwaaaahahahaha!!!!!! RAaaaaaaaaaaagggggggeeeee!!!!!!!!
  19. Someone spent too much time at the pub this afternoon huh Paulie?!?!
  20. It only took that long as I asked Ben from UAS to ramp it slowly to 4400rpm then bury it Not a great idea ramping from low rpm with nitrous on a dyno under load. Rods don't like it. lol I was happy with the 190kW no gas - I hope anyone who watched the curve or saw the power vs. manifold pressure graph took note of the values. If there are any old pricks with something to say purely for the sake of saying something still talking i'd be surprised. Thanks to Adam, Turbosmart and UAS for a great day. Adrian
  21. The Bezerkly car has gone 124mph a couple of times too. If Daniel doesn't drive it right he's getting bashed in the carpark while I rape....errr.....RACE it for him. He Jason - LNEMUP! Adrian
  22. Ben, we both know the truth!!! It was GUNNA be you but.... BU5TER is non-turbo and powered by screaching gerbils! Adrian
  23. Hahaha..... You forgot "SCUM!" Don't forget the little people who've helped you along your way to winning those trophy's, pusseh boy! Adrian
  24. AND if shootout mode is utilised correctly, power figures should be comparable across different dynos in different states in differing weather. Adrian
