  1. 12.68 @ 107.09 mph - 1.78 60' - 3230lb race weight (me included obviously). Plenty of other people have run 108mph but don't launch as well and therefore have slower ET's.
  2. Not the purple Supra that qualified with the pipes out the side? And they call nitrous users cheats.... lol
  3. Yes, that's right. Yes, sadly they do. HongKongSpecial Intercooler but no CFRP on the car at all. The bonnet just has a vent in it. Late-model, turbo, injected bikes w/out wheelie bars are the new outcasts. Injected/rotary/4/6cyl cars get 28 new comp brackets and they can't get one?!?! WTF?!?! 250hp shot? Hahaha.... Out of interest though, my car makes 255hp (190kW) @ the rears without nitrous and 355hp (265kW) with it. That's with the 100hp jetting. Funny that huh?!?! Adrian
  4. 12.68 @ 107mph.
  5. Since before Spetember last year.
  6. Limited notice? WTF?
  7. Hahahaha!!!!! x lots! If ANYONE else had broken a shaft, there would've been offers of spares and help and support from all corners. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Jeff in the blue datto didn't qualify (17th) and had fuel supply issues. As far as I know he ripped up the ET3 non-qualifier bracket once it was sorted. 2nd place - little rotary I think?!?! Anyone? Personally I can't wait to get to WSID and run another 1.668 60' and 118mph Other 60's were: 1.762, 1.759, 1.771, 1.774. Adrian
  8. And thanks to Mark Jacobsen for some good company and "strategy" assistance Just like the Democrats "...keeping the bastards honest...." Thanks mate.
  9. Thanks guys - the phone-calls of support helped too! Adrian
  10. 356hp on mine - had some help though lol
  11. Qualified 12th. First round eliminations I cut a 'reasonable' light (.115) and punched the brakes through the traps to run a 12.12 @ 96mph. 2nd round went .003 on the tree, 1.668 for the 60' and broke out by a hundredth. (11.940 on an 11.950 dial). Was totally worth going! Took 40 points in S/RWD for quarter-final lose. Points are now: 1/ Jeff (Blue Datto coupe JRB00M) - 140 1/ Mark Jacobsen (Friggin awesome GTR) - 140 2/ Me - 120 3/ 'BU5TER' - 100 4/ 'DRAGME' - 100 HUGE THANKS go out to the following people without whom, my competing could never have happened. I owe you guys! Lee and Ben (Filter) from Need for Speed Imports - towed the car all the way to QLD for me with almost NO notice whatsoever, crewed for me all day and helped out with every part of the day. Mark (overev1) from Albion, QLD. Thanks for the place to crash, the help on the day and for showing me the reason I love this sport so much. Gav - Mark's mate and rotary fiend. Thanks heaps mate. Stuart from Bezerkly Automotive back in Wollongong for the "over-the-phone-tune" and strategy advice. Thanks guys. Adrian
  12. Standard gearbox blew up straight away - that's what I heard but it's all hearsay till we hear from the man himself.
  13. Oh, times....ummm.... 11.8 11.9 11.9 12.0 11.9 That'll do for QLD. Wish me luck everyone! Adrian
  14. Maonie, forget the 12.4. Seriously. Get your car issues sorted then run another 1.75 60' time and watch the 12.00's happen!!!! Well done.
  15. Thanks mate! You will witness the KING of sooky la-laa attacks if it goes the same way as Jambo! Adrian
  16. Not that I know of Charlie
  17. I'm racing - mate towing up on Friday, I'm flying up then too. come and say hi QLD's
  18. Gtr rims are spot on. Reason for the 300ZX suggestion is a price thing. If you already have a pair they would be perfect. Much lighter (i believe) than the 300 rims. The problem is not usually with the outer guard. The inner guard and spring are the points of contact if at all. You shouldn't have big -'ve camber on the back for drag racing anyway so standing the wheels up can help a couple of problems at once. I have run similar times on the 275's and the 255's BUT I ran within thousandths of my best 60' time on the 275's on my first pass with the 255's. Stickers left on and all Adrian
  19. If we can fix this starter motor issue, i'll be testing for Saturday's Mini-Jam at Willowbank, QLD.
  20. No, they were 205/50/16's. Adrian
  21. The 275/40/17's 'just' fit on the bum of my 33 gts. I may have had a very flukey offset though.... SK, you can pick up stock 300ZX rims for about $30ea so to save headaches, I'd get a pair of them and buy the 255/16's with the greater sidewall. Just a thought. Adrian
  22. Have had my transport pull out at the VERY last minute and now I'm stuck without a way to get my car to QLD for this event. If anyone can offer a suggestion on who can take my car to and from Willowbank for this event it would be greatly appreciated. Need to know tonight - 19th of March Please email: [email protected] Thanks in advance for any help offered. Adrian

  24. I ran 275/40/17" Nitto Drag Radials on a 17x8" rim and they were fine. I run the 255/50/16" MT ET Streets on a 16x7.5 although a 16x8" (R32 GTR rim etc) or 16x7" rim will be fine too. Adrian
