  1. Oil was DEFINITELY on the track BEFORE Shane raced. As witnessed by the total lack of oil under his car and the fact that he went straight as a die on the next pass. Didn't stop the WSID officials pricking it out in a big way though
  2. Adrian
  3. There weren't many cameras pointed at you Shane. Our jaws were all on the floor!
  4. Check the trading post, Shane. They're everywhere. Maybe www.tradingpost.com.au
  5. Well Done to Brett - one of the fastest street tyred cars on the day! Only car quicker than him was a twin turbo V8 capri that went 3000lbs! Nice! Pics to come...
  6. Just a note: You dont lose a fixed % through the drivetrain in ANY circumstance. The same drivetrain will lose say, 80hp with a 300hp engine as it will lose 80hp with a 500hp engine. You don't magically get a drivetrain that eats more energy from the process. So while 17% might work for your car NOW, if you increase the power from your engine by 200hp, the 17% wont apply. Adrian
  7. Forgot to add that most calculators are at the engine. Most BASIC 1/4 mile calculators that use rwhp assume a % drivetrain loss which is a really bad thing. Adrian
  8. 406.02hp - lets say you lose that much through the drivetrain - your calc isnt that bad.
  9. That tiny little single HKS 2510 looks lonely though. Not sure what you're trying to achieve there mate!?!?! <--------------------------
  10. Nah I'll be right mate - back to work for me now and again, best of luck in Sydney.
  11. Hahahaha!!! I'm all giddy with excitement now Brett. I bet my love letter is better than yours.
  12. Hehehee.... Paperwork? Will I need a mouthguard if i call you, mate?
  13. Really nothing to say Theo. We can all be friends. You've run quicker 60's on Federals so I shut up and said congrats and good luck for Sydney. I'm done.
  14. If this rain holds out Pauly, you may have only hours to wait.
  15. But you don't have a stock GTSt, Chris. You have a tubbed, caged, slicked bad-boy being built by Wild1 in Wollongong. Can't wait to see that run hard - show these 4wd guys how it's done! Adrian
  16. Marlin - All Good. Theo - Run 8's in Sydney - I'll cheer. Doughie - you batty! Adrian
  17. The role of any racer with sponsorship is to promote the sponsors products and services to their market. Theo attributed his new PB to sending the car to, "...fulcrum suspension and changed spring rate and camber did not touch the tune at all." and Highlighting improved traction as a major contributor to the improved performance, team owner and driver, Theo Woollett added, “We’ve been making the power for quite awhile, now we’re tuning the car to get it to the ground effectively”, stating that gains have been made in suspension setup and power delivery characteristics to achieve the weekend’s improvement of nearly 0.5 seconds of their previous best time. Nowhere does he honestly attribute ANY success to the tyre change. That's pretty misleading from where I stand. I do have an issue with him. I've told him that. He goes off half cocked about subjects he has no idea about. (See his rant on driver safety over the seat issue). I'll stop "carrying on like a tool" when theo does. As for wearing a mouth guard, I can't see anything happening there that wont land him in the disqualification basket - almost worth it. Don't be silly and make threats on other peoples behalf. Lastly, I'll quote myself. Adrian
  18. So do Federal like you running the numbers on Mickey Thompsons and passing it off as their product? I bet they do! Adrian
  19. Because Nissan nearly went broke and Renault bought a controlling interest in them and took over. Perhaps Nissan having 5 or more cars on the same S13 chassis was a bad idea?!?! Totally seperate issue to them building 4 cyls or not as you'll find their 4-cyl market is stronger than ever. Adrian
  20. I was thinking 6.80 as well @ approx 100mph.
