  1. gimme gimme gimme !!! just one run.... it's just one of those cars that you watch race and think, "fark, i'd love to get in that and give it just one brap up the strip." Adrian
  2. Oh jeezus.... PLEASE give me a run in the car before you pull it to bits anyway... COME ON!!!! Adrian
  3. Jack up the front of the motor, dude. but dont forget to check your cooler piping when you're done or it'll blow off. Adrian
  4. Oops missed that Jason. 1650lb gtst??? Are you kidding yourself? I am off to buy the PowerHouse Amuse GTR and then I'm gonna strip some weight out of it. Adrian
  5. what one dude? this is okay but when was the last time any of us had to compete against a tubbed rotary? Don't get very excited about things like this until i see street tyre class mentioned more often Would love to have a much lighter R33 with 400 hp and slicks but kinda destroys the street car idea!>!>!?!?!? we'll see. Adrian
  6. That sucks dude.... Stick to close canals. Adrian
  7. I reckon Origin night can blow me and we'll get more runs B-Man is a very efficient durability tester !!! Adrian
  8. Rocket Industries told me that they had an expected date of arrival for the first lot of ET Radials of, "July...errr...maybe later...we dunno." The ET Streets are DOT rated but not radials like the BF's and Nitto's. I honestly wouldn't worry about them, mate. Put 45psi in your regular front tyres for less rolling resistance. You wont have the instabillity problems with the BF's on the back as they're radials and suffer none of the wandering and rolling problems of slicks. No need to run conventionals on the front. No idea what pressures people run in front runners though, sorry. Never used slicks before. Adrian
  9. They weren't making enough $$ on every other Saturday to stick with it. Bigger crowds on Wed too. Adrian
  10. The immediate above is coming from the guy that tuned my car beautifully and got rid of the sh1t tune that was on it from a major Sydney workshop who shall remain nameless. Less timing, a touch more fuel and it has been going on the Power FC for 18 months like this. Take some timing out and see if it fixes it. If it does, get your arse to a DECENT tuner now. Adrian
  11. BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adrian
  12. Credit to you for taking it out for a run mate. Very well done. BUT Absolute pig shit. Adrian
  13. Your 18's should have about 50mm top and bottom (100 total) whilst the 15's have more like 69mm top and bottom. That's 5.4" total sidewall compared to not quite 4" with the 18's. Much better Start at 18psi and drop it 2 psi at a time using your 60' times to check your progress. Try a couple of passes at each level to make sure. It's a LOT easier to take pressure out than it is to put back in Oh and benm, whatever do you mean? I don't waste rubber and destroy the environment like that?!?! Adrian
  14. 2900lb is lighter than my R33 and I run 13-14psi in the Nitto's. I'd try 18psi in them to start with and *maybe* drop it to as far as 12 from there. Obviously you'd do that in increments to guage the best pressure. As far as burnouts go, I have never been one for massive smoke-shows. In fact, I have read on American Supra & Mustang forums that the BF's require only a small burnout to get them to an acceptable operating temperature. Take the marketing with a grain of salt as when they say, "Little or no burnout req'd" they are REALLY trying to say, "These things wear out fuggin' quick and if you don't shred them, they'll last longer." Also, you should find that you don't have to do as big a burnout as the first one during the course of a day. They do actually retain some heat. In terms of launching, I have absoluteley no idea what will work well with your car. Radial tyres, (soft compound or not) don't behave in the same balooning type of way as drag slicks due to their radial construction. The radial belts hold the shape for road driving as well as race driving. They do however squat like a bastard!! Good luck mate!! Adrian
  15. I thought these statements were mutually exclusive?!?!?! Do you have the tests? I am more than interested. Thanks dude. Adrian
  16. The Comp TA's are what you're after, dude. Check out some pics of Nabil's 8THSIN Supra launching on the size you're talking about and you'll be immediately convinced. The gForce radials from BFG are designed with the American FWD market in mind. This is demonstrated by the sizes in which they are available. That's not to say that they don't ALSO suit a RWD arrangement (see Ben from UAS's MR2 for more). Good luck at the next street meet. Hope to see you there. And remember... Luck is ALWAYS part of the equation Adrian
  17. 108.833 around Tsukuba Circuit in the Spoon Civic Adrian
  18. Bingo. Adrian
  19. More excuses.... BAH!!! Perth Smerth.... I give up. Adrian
  20. Absolutely normal, mate. Wouldn't worry about it unless it spikes to 1.0 bar. *** HOWEVER *** Keep a constant eye on it as, imho, Turbosmart bleed valves are amongst the WORST on the market in terms of spiking and holding boost. Adrian
  21. Wrxhoon, (aka "TRACKA" ???) Got some info and specs/comparo's between the currently available systems? I know you're a guru in this department. Adrian
  22. i'm with that guy ^ Adrian
  23. Haaahahahaha.... Adrian
  24. Dyno queen Congrats on the time too dude. Adrian
  25. SERIOUSLY considered these tyres but wanted to go a pair of radials first and then just run slicks. Look like the business for sure. Too soft to drive regularly on the road though and expect decent mileage. Adrian
