  3. yes it is speed sensitive and you will only see the rears move while stationary if you put it into diagnostics mode. see here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=22193

  6. watching it at crown would be tops with the huge screens
  7. who are the odds in favour of? think i might have to go to the pub to watch this
  8. heh whoever bought his car for cheap seems to have realised why.
  9. Murcotts disagrees with you. i was aprehensive when they told me to come to their 2nd course with 40psi in the tyres. i can't remember exactly what they said to justify it but i think it was to do with having them inflated so that the water channels are effective.
  10. i agree with what you say about the way the tyres hold the road at diff pressures and i have experienced the differences also but unless this guy is running less than ~25 psi or above 40psi i don't think the pressure is the problem here.
  11. go out to your car and take a close look at the tyres. poke your nail into them and feel how hard they are to flex like that... and check if the rubber is cracking. my old falkens were like that - hard and cracking. would slide very easily in the wet. if you go to a tyre shop and say "are my tyres broken, do i need to buy new ones from you?" they will say yes... ha ha ha.
  12. are you tyres old and hardened? replaced them since importing? all this tyre pressure talk won't make much of a different with road tyres.
  13. not to mention the big end bearing do you get that really low pitched sound when you go in 5th at 60
  14. i've got an old hks panel filter. the green ones. not sure how good it is. i'll check if there's a big diff bw the K&N and it before i spend $70
  15. guess i'll go get that panel filter i've been meaning to get then
  16. mate you need to check out every r32 you can even if you don't think you're really interested in the car. you say you're a noob well go look and ride in 20 gtst's and get aquanted with how they should look, feel and work.
  17. yeah if i had loads of free time i'd consider selling mine and buying that.

  23. Hey guys, Is the r32 oxygen sensor the same as in r33 GTS-t's? The part in my r32 is NGK205 9L10. And if you have an r32 gtst and replaced the part, where did you get it? Repco, Bursons and NGK haven't been able to help me. Nissan say they can get the right sensor from interstate for $200, which is a bit too expensive for my liking. Funny thing is that i'm getting better fuel economy now that my o2 sensor's wires are cut - had to cut them to get the wrench on to remove it. Answer: Petro-ject 9873 7006
