  3. You may want to check if that was the factory color or if the car was fully resprayed. I do recall them coming in a red but not sure if thats the red. Post the color code on here which can be found on the build plate and you should be able to check what the original color is. Have to admit its a nice color, price is ok, not extremely cheap being a 250GT but I would be skeptical about the kms. For around that price, you could probably score a nice 300GT or maybe even a 350GT if you haggle hard enough. Remember, its a buyers market.
  4. You probably drove the 5AT in a series one. Try a series 2 5AT...I have owned and driven both and they are miles apart, needless to say I have kept the series 2.
  5. its not mine...I just googled it for you. And yes as far as I am aware, they should be a straight fit.
  6. Lol....on the brightside, if it turns out well, I don't think you will have a problem offloading it to the sedan fans... You have pics?
  7. Price is also a good indication....there is a reason why the CVTs are priced well below the 5AT versions of similar year. BTW, what price range are you looking at?
  8. Anyone have a set of these they want to sell? Let me know price and pics please. In Brisbane preferably...but would consider interstate too. Thanks.
  9. Its not about how you maintain the car, its more about how it was maintained/or not in the past. I have no doubt the CVT8 is great. My Merc is a CVT too and I love it. There is already plenty of evidence and bad experiences documented in this forum if you do a thorough search with regards to the CVT8. You will be taking a huge gamble if you do buy one... By all means test drive one but please do not buy before test driving a S2 5AT 350GT sedan. 12/04 onwards I test drove a CVT8 few years ago...did a bit of research and chose the 5AT instead, this is my 4th year of owning it and it has never skipped a beat.
  10. Jap wheels for Jap Cars....nuff said...
  11. So the wheels are in the exact same condition and the rubber hasn't worn at all?? I miss them wheels...
  12. Do they have these in 5x112 mercedes PCD? If so, same price?
  13. Hi RuZoo, I'm glad someone is finally interested in these fine wheels. Obviously you have good taste and these will look really good on your Supra. I do not normally post overseas but I will make an exception this time. I have checked up on postal charges to Chile today. They are the same price as posting to Nigeria as I have previously done. Postage to Chile will be $1400 AUD. This includes insurance as well so the wheels will be covered. I will also need to pack these wheels properly so they do not get damaged. Handling fee will be $500 AUD. So in total: Wheels - $2000AUD Shipping - $1400AUD Handling - $500AUD $3900AUD in total which is equal to approximately $4163USD at todays fantastic exchange rate. If you are happy with the above, please let me know and I will send you my bank details for direct bank transfer. Hope to hear from you soon.
  14. Here are a couple of options from an SAU trader.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/309308-apexi-exhaust-deals-direct-from-manufacturer/
  15. Here....southside Underwood....always around Sunnybank area though...VSP07 Blue Sedan Chris: I'm no where near 40+
  16. Easiest way is to bring it to a local tire shop. They should have hub rings of various sizes.
  17. Definately lower...not neccessarily slammed. Rule of thumb, if you have aftermarket wheels and lower profile tires to avoid looking like a 4WD......lower the damn thing!
  18. any other reason you might be looking for him? Seems odd that you call him a friend but you don't even know how to spell his name let alone know what his full name is?
  19. Are you willing to separate wheels and tires? I only need wheels...if so how much?
  20. Came in the carbon finish and I could not fault the quality. The bootlip itself is flexible so can be bent slighly to suit. Length wise there was a gap of 1/2 inch on both sides which didn't really bother me. Best to measure your boot and then search for the ones on ebay that best line up. Southside Brisbane. AHR31 - Are you Teena's brother btw?
  21. ^^^^^^ way over priced for a boot lip! Do a search on ebay for G35 M3 Lip. I bought mine a while back from a seller in HK...cost me $40 delivered. http://shop.ebay.com.au/?_from=R40&_trksid=p2771.m570.l1313&_nkw=g35+m3+lip&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  22. No idea where in Melbourne. Most tyre/wheels places will roll guards. And yes, the lower you go the more camber you will get resulting in quicker wear on your tires. Will look hot but..
  23. I removed mine...just be warned...they are a B&^%* to remove. I left a fair few scratches on mine after they were completely removed. The double sided tape is pretty much fused to the car over the years...
