  1. 17s for track I reckon...18s/19s for everyday driving
  2. Firstly I would like to say, there is no such thing as a "Best" tyre and wheel sizes for handling. As Smokey mentioned, there are too many variables for there to be a BEST combination. However, what you should be asking is, the most optimal tyre and wheel size to improve handling. I would say this is between a set of 18s and 19s. Tire sizes and prices vary slightly between 18s and 19s and more for 20s. I have found anything from a 225 to 245 for the fronts and 245 to 275 for the rears comfortably improve body roll compared to factory specs. Next thing you got to figure out is do you have heavy 18s or lighweight 19s? Unsprung weight affects this as well. Then you will need to determine your suspension and ride height...stock or lowered? If you are not after record breaking times around the track then I would suggest a decent brand tire + lightweight JDM rims + slightly lowered + sway bars. These mods alone will give you a pretty noticeable improvement over factory.
  3. I got my asking price.
  4. 350z struts and springs are a direct bolt on to coupe and sedan Vs. it will lower the sedan by 1" and the coupe by about 1/2"
  5. Welcome to the LS Blue club! I am guessing yours is a series 2 as well with the aluminium center console trim and the bose CD/MD headunit? There aren't very many of these colours going around. Try and source the factory lip if you can, will set it off nicely without going overboard.
  6. Nah, these were custom ordered brand new through JDM Concept. Took 4 months to arrive from production to delivery.
  7. Wheel whore strikes again!
  8. Looks 100 times better with the white bumper, lowered and wheels! And yes, please do color code the bottom bit, it will make the car look a lot lower than it actually is
  9. Sold! pending payment...that didn't last long
  10. Depends on your definition of perfect. These wheels were made for the Coupe, so yes they are perfect for it ie: sit within the guards, legal no guard rolling required etc... However if your definition of perfect meaning flush on the guards and have some poke then no. Plenty of photo examples here on how they sit. http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=v35+coupe+wheels&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bpcl=38897761&biw=1440&bih=813&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=xrq2UOX7HuaRiQeGqYCYAw#um=1&hl=en&tbo=d&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=v35+19%22+rays+coupe+wheels&oq=v35+19%22+rays+coupe+wheels&gs_l=img.3...12900.13403.2.13671.5.5.0.0.0.2.217.599.0j1j2.3.0...0.0...1c.1.gsZ6qa06I4w&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=f6682e0171045f89&bpcl=38897761&biw=1440&bih=813
  11. Lol Thanks Shiva. Will post some better pics when I have the opportunity to take some better ones. I bought these Rays wheels in this unmarked condition and only had them on for around 2 months while waiting for my new wheels to arrive, so yeah they have not been repaired or repainted as far as I can tell. There are some very minor stone chips from everyday driving but apart from that they are in almost showroom condition. And yes quite rare. $1K for a set of 19" forged wheels made by Rays that look good are hard to come by!
  12. Have a set of these in immaculate condition. Great for track days as they are lightweight and forged made by rays engineering. 19x8 +30 19x8.5 +33 No gutter rash at all. Comes with the Infiniti center caps. Fits sedans very nicely. Pick up Brisbane South $1K wheels only. If require postage please pm postcode
  13. Are these like Forge wheels rebranded? See u around the estate!
  14. whats the rear wheel specs - width and offset? looks pretty sunken in w/o the spacers. You have plenty of room there.
  15. Should have let the springs settle before removing the spacers. Would have been pretty spot on. What were the original specs for rears? The mild drop looks good.
  16. At this rate they probably need replacing soon anyway lol.
  17. I bought some federal 595s in 19s for the same price you paid for your china tires. Plenty of skyline drivers swear by them. http://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/546784-federal-ss595-tires.html
  18. Same as the Zs. In 18s they are 225/45 & 245/45 F&R. Use the tire calculator to work out the OD. In 19s most ppl go 245/40 & 275/35. 30 profile is more suited to 20s to keep within factory specs
  19. What profile are u running on the fronts? I could be wrong but technically you should be running 275/35 for 19s to keep as close to factory OD. So if your fronts are correct and rears are off might be screwing with your Vdc
  20. $220 is definitely not in the cheap bracket for tires assuming these are 18s. I wasn't implying you spend big on tires but rather get something that is decent and reputable. $220 should have bought u something decent so yeah what tires did u get? There is a code on the tire themselves too which tell you the year of manufacture. Make sure u haven't been sold really old stock. You should be able to go back to the shop and ask for a better tire if you are not happy with this one.
  21. sorry to be sarcastic but you love driving the hills and yet you pay for cheap arse tires on a 30K+ car.....seriously dude tires are probably the most important part thats keeping you alive and most ppl choose to spend the least on them, instead paying heaps for fancy paint jobs, body kits, exhausts etc...did you also just get 3rd party fire and theft insurance instead of full comp?
  22. I run 38psi all day everyday on my 19s and 18s. Pretty sure you are reading it wrong on your tire. Its probably saying don't inflate more than 35psi when mounting the tire on the wheel. How did your partner manage to damage the front and rear when accidentally pressing the accelerator instead of the brakes? Those quotes look fairly reasonable if its for front and rear repairs.
