  1. Just curious..ur username says 350GT8..is that the car you are referring to coz I don't think GT8s came in series 2...
  2. I've got the series 2 lip and can confirm they are different from the Coupe. I sourced mine from Yahoo auctions in Japan many years ago. They are also available from US and also japanparts.com but be prepared to pay through your nose upwards of $600 landed. If you can find a 2nd hand one from Japan it would be much cheaper.
  3. Deep Dish, yours is a 250gt yea? Hence the lower price. I just did a quick scan on Ebay and almost every sedan on there was either a 250gt or 300gt priced between 12k to 16k like Nightcrawler said. Pricing as we all know is based on demand and supply and there is a shitload more coupes for sale out there than 350gt sedans. Saying almost everyone would rather a base model coupe if the sedan was priced the same is not entirely true. There are heaps of enthusiasts out there now that prefer the practicality of a sedan and have families, kids and prams etc to cart around. There is still a market for these, just need to educate the buyers between the various models. No offence to anyone but 250gts (4spd auto) and CVTs are the hardest to sell and hence the relatively low pricing.
  4. Mate I say leave your asking price as it is. its a manual, low kms and has a few nice bits. Those Rays 19s set the car off nicely too. A lot of the sedans priced lower on carsales or ebay are mainly stock autos, 250GTs and CVTs. Might take a while to move in this current market but gives you a bit of room for negotiations as well. Don't low ball yourselves unless you are desperate.
  5. would be interested to see a before and after dyno on this..given the additional length of piping to the 2nd outlet would you actually lose power from this setup? Looks pretty good otherwise.
  6. sooooooooooooooooo tempting!!!!! need to get rid of mine first
  7. Great pics!....if you are trying to sell the car...why don't u make a better effort in posting pics of the actual wheels. At that price it would have been snapped up by now.
  8. its not called rainbow...its the titanium lip version Grams Light.
  9. A lot of ppl on this forum will probably make you eat your words but each to their own. yes the cheaper tires last longer as they have a harder compound which effectively means less grip, but yes they will last u ages if u drive sensibly, but in an emergency or in the wet I wouldn't bet my life on it. The higher end tires have a softer compound, more grip and wear quicker. Ever play Gran Turismo and wonder why they grade tires hard, medium, soft and the soft racing tires are always the most expensive?
  10. A realistic quote is what someone is prepared to pay for them. You didn't give us the make and model of tire and also how much tread left..these things make a diff to your asking price. Few months ago I lost an ebay bid for a set identical to yours but in original color that went for $750 with decent tires..now i'm kicking myself.
  11. for that kind of money you can get a brand name one shipped from the US with change left over. Will be direct bolt on no fuss install.
  12. not a big fan of black painted wheels. If they were still in the original colour I would be interested. I have seen them go from 1-1.5k with tires and depending on condition. Unfortunately not many people appreciate factory wheels and if you were asking anymore you could probably get yourselves an aftermarket set of rays or works anyway.
  13. Offsets more suitable to a sedan not a coupe
  14. technically you are not factory ride height anymore because you are running 40 profile instead of 45. You are approx 20-30mm lower than factory with those tire profiles.
  15. ^^^ Very nice and clean. a bit more low and colour code the bottom and will look heaps better. Here's my 300GT when I had it.
  16. i'm lowered on 350z suspension and hardly scrape on anything with the exception of my front lip which gets a graze underneath everyday I reverse out of my driveway. For those with stock suspension and scrape...post up your tire profiles e.g.: 225/45/18. one of the reasons ppl on stock suspension scrape is because they have the wrong profile tires on, effectively reducing overall diameter and also ride height...and they wonder why...
  17. $200....this is not ebay...post an asking price as per forum rules. width and offsets are stamped behind the wheel. Post them up if you want to sell them quicker.
  18. Here you go, read post #144 & 145 http://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/92682-another-g-sedan-350z-suspension-pix-10.html
  19. Here's a couple of new ones from a recent photoshoot.
