  1. can u confirm whether its for a 2 dr or 4 dr gtt?
  2. yeah bob Jane do puncture repairs, I had one done when it took in a screw few mths back n kept on leaking air. Just make sure there isn't any side wall damage otherwise they won't repair it.
  3. Nah, spacers of any kind whether slip on or bolt on are illegal unless they came factory with the car. Only way while you are still in Japan, pick up two front wheels with Hi/Big caliper clearance. Offset means squat..u need to ask around for something to fit ur soarer and ensure they spokes are A disk (hi) If u can source a cheap set of TE37s or LMGT4s, they can pretty much clear anything
  4. AFAIK, its worthless and a throwaway...u wanna throw it my way..I need a new paper weight
  5. Think about it...Nissan have put so much money into R&D into their vehicles...did any of them come with a turbo timer from factory?
  6. So what is the offset and what car were they on before?
  7. These threads are no longer informative..they have been done over n over to death and it all ends up in shit! Its like creating a thread and asking....who's wife do you think looks the best in terms of looks, yours, mine or Dans?? Do a search.
  8. dead serious.
  9. I'm saving up for a parachute b4 I even attempt to hit the drag strip
  10. People argue that Honda Civics are better than R32s as well...doesn't mean they are right?
  11. Not a good idea scanned licences etc. You know what the possibilities are someone else having a good quality scan of ur licence??? Ever heard of identity theft? Next thing you know u'll be receiving heaps of mobile phone bills and crap that someone else signed up under ur name! My thoughts were more around buyer depositing $$ into a trust account held by SAU. Once buyer receives goods and are satisfied, SAU releases the $$ to seller. Something to think about for high value items but I guess it just makes the whole process of buying and selling more complicated Hope you get ur money back!
  12. 2 years is a pretty long time to store a car which will be depreciating the whole time. If I were you, I'd sell now while you can still get some $ back for it. In 2 yrs time GTTs will probably cost 15K! If it was property then it would be the other way around
  13. With that budget, try sourcing some 2nd hand jap wheels, even new ones like the Work XT7 (lightweight cast wheel) are around 2k with change leftover for tyres. 2nd hand TE37s or LMGT4s are around the 2.5k depending on condition...forged and lightweight.
  14. You need to find out which has the closest rolling diameter to your stock rim/wheel combo so 1. its legal (in Qld ur only allowed no more than 15mm difference) 2. doesn't stuff up ur speedo So check your stock tyre profile and compare it in this website with the two profiles ur choosing from http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
  15. You are in denial. seek treatment.
  16. Pretty sure its 380mm front and 370mm rear measured from center of wheel to guard...SK quoted it in one of his threads..have to look for it. Edited.
  17. spotted TOYRB on Moss St and Rossman in his JEEP
  18. You reckon? This one looks more like bayside blue to me...I could be wrong..bloody sun I have seen one in bayside blue in the flesh before and looks way hot!
  19. You snooze you lose! People need to pay attention to the events section more often
  20. This BLUE would be a different story though Its on carsales in NSW under dealer cars..there's quite a few in Australia at the moment..might be worthwhile looking interstate as well instead of straight from Japan.
  21. The colors not bad but will be very hard to find matching wheels to go with it down the track...what do u do? Chrome? Black? White? Gunmetal? Non of those colors seem to match up with that shade of blue..kinda like buying an outfit but no shoes to match. Oh and besides..I saw a new model camry today with that identical color too
  22. Didn't know you were into that kinda thing I was definately drenched but...head to toe
  23. Here you go! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=158798
  24. Noel, You just went on the wrong day mate. There have been numerous track and drag days organised by SAU if you weren't aware. Every enthusiast have their own groups or clubs who normally organise to attend together with the same type/make cars...u happened to be there on bogan day...If you do a search around, there are numerous Skylines that have broken numerous track and drag records in Australia alone. On the flipside, "each to their own" is a very valid point. I would take a wild guess and say $$ is the main hindrance to most. People with mortgages, family and kids with a Skyline as a daily drivers for work can't exactly have their cars booked into workshops every 2nd day to fix stuff when something breaks. There are many nowadays that in a attempt to own a piece of the legendary skyline can't even afford full comp insurance or even an alarm! I enjoy driving mine as it is knowing that I might do the quarter mile in 14 secs instead of 13.8
  25. All in the spirit of getting more activities organised for the club Mud Disappointed that none of the execs actively join in
