  1. Make sure you let us know how you go. Pop your dyno run on here for a looksie. You will probably at least need a Fuel Cut Defender to get the most out of the turbo. Besides having fuel run out maybe. I have a FCD they are quite fiddly the more boost you allow the more the fuel leans out. Good to a certain extent as our cars inherently run rich. Other people have used fuel bleed valves to lean out fuel.
  2. I will try to find which thread it was in the next day or so. If your keen have a look at the PFC related threads. May have also been on SDU.
  3. Sorry Im not a buyer. How is the car with the 2540 on it? What pwr is at the wheels. Do you have larger injectors? Could the turbo produce more? Did you put the turbo on? If so how does it spool up compared to the origonal? Thanks.
  4. When you say GT25's make more power. Have you seen this on a R33 gts-t? If so what power? I have had a lot of sujestions but would like to have people who have actually done what they have sujested and give actual results. I guess now I would like to know what to expect from a 2540 which are reasonably cheap 2nd hand. Or for a R33 should I go for say 2835. Would there be more lag etc. etc. This is with all standard mods ECU, exhaust, fuel pump, blah blah. Thanks all!!
  5. Whats the phone number of the dude from Port Kembla? Does he have an Internet site?
  6. Somewhere on these threads I read of a $400 upgrade to PFC that gets rid of AFM. Now I dont know what model PFC it goes with or any details. I will try and find it again.
  7. Anyone read the article? What did you think? I rang Kyp from ATP and he wouldnt tell me any specs however guaranteed 220rwkw with my setup. They had a car produce 238rwkw. Well priced under 2k including match porting exhaust. Still only bush style bearing. Anyone had or heard of any experiences with these guys. Greg.
  8. Not to detracted from the origonal thread but Im going to anyway sorry Bugs. Joel how do you like the bliz boost controller? What features can you tell me about it and how do you use those features? Did you consider AVCR? What price can your mate get them for? Cheers
  9. Its not the dead standard bar. Looking at your Avatar it would be the same as yours. You remove the plastic section and need to cut the metal brace behind it. Takes 2secs with an angle grinder.
  10. I think the other turbo for 1300 was a thrust bearing and GCG do ball bearing. It would be interesting to see peoples thoughts on which bearing to go for. If it is worth the cost. This could be for two reasons i.e. wear on the bearing, if this is a concern do thrust bearings wear out quicker and how long would they be expected to last ie 15psi. And in theory ball bearing should spool quicker all things equal however has anyone had any lag due to going thrust bearing conversion. It all comes down to money and in this instance up to a $1000 more for the GCG ball bearing version.

  12. How's things. Did your video turn out allright from the autosalon? Anyway I have had my bar done. It was through SAS paint and panel down winfield way. He done a great job. The guy at SAS his name escapes me now Mario I think has a mate who actually does the welding. Cost about $100 for welding and a bit over $300 for Mario to finish and paint it. I will try and send you a picture. I had the car at the last cruise and unfortunately will probably miss the next cruise due to being away. Greg.
  13. Let us know how you get on. I am looking down the same barrel. Cheers.
  14. You guys have proven that additives do work through trial and error. However I was talking to Steve Cramp (Drifty you may want to call him at Manta Racing) and he claimed that it is not a good idea. From memory it was to do with the fact that the synchros require a certain amount of friction to change properly. I cant remember exactly what he said however Food for thought.
  15. Who would know what would be a good HKS turbo to match to a R33. Looking at 240-250rwkw. Required to be internally wastegated and bolt onto origonal manifold. Or possibly with spacer if require. I realise all the rest that is required with this power. Thanks.
  16. If you can get your hands on the latest Fast Fours in the article Sky Is The limit ATP are working with Advanced Engine Managment to create a direct plug in Wolf 3D.
  17. All I have to say is 204rwkw. Fight over before it started!!
  18. You need a new turbo dude. Let me know how you go as I am having trouble deciding for myself. In all seriousness I cant help you. Greg.

For clearing that up for me whatsisname. Hey Joel. Where you getting your Turb from? Worked out a good price.
  20. I guess you know now Chris and as I discovered when making an Avatar there is no need to do a test run. All previous posts will have your avatar applied to them. See you tues night. I think Lachlan's up to something. Interesting to see if he has his car with him.
  21. Cars are in and put to bed. Plenty of people still there feverously polishing away. Looks to be a good show. It will be interesting to see how you compare it to the Sydney show. I think I have forgotten who passed who it was Freeby I think. The shoe was on the other foot once, when I got a FCD and boosted up first. Anyway the tides will turn. After all as Lachlan knows its War.
  22. You all set for tonight?
  23. How much is a set all round?
