Engines had a rebuild with a different block in the last year unfortunately. Revs check is the same, comes up with no records. VL BT1 all original.

Hey guys just wondering if someone can help me, I'm purchasing a daily for the time being and the car I'm looking at was registered in NSW in 2009, driven to VIC and the registration has since lapsed. I've tried entering the previous rego into the RTA website and it say's it doesn't exist. The previous registration was BC46ZV and the VIN number was AVL055981M. I can't seem to find anything on this and it being a BT1 thus is carries a higher price tag, I don't want to be buying a write-off in NSW. If anyone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it Cheers, Borci88.

Bump, will go much cheaper if less rego/rwc/rims or whatever, also negotiable on the set price with everything.

If a car was previously registered in NSW, brought down to VIC and the registration has since expired. To get it registered in VIC I assume all you would need is a RWC and then you can get Rego?

Yeah it sucks, I love it it's an awesome car, just can't afford to "make it mine" in terms of mods so I'm gonna sell it and get something cheaper I can become more attached too, more than likely a VLCT haha. I'll get another one one day in future, more likely a 34 though. Don't really expect to get 12k for it but it is a ridiculously clean car with no scratches or dents on it what so ever. Probably get more luck on Carsales I suppose.

Ive been having the same problem of 250kms to a full tank recently. I would average it out to 60-70kms per quarter of a tank. My mechanic reset the AAC and reset the idle and chucked in some Iridium plugs. I filled the car up to full and so far I've done 50kms and the needle has not even dropped below the full line yet, maybe this is worth a try.

So my mechanic changed the plugs in mine today, said I had the wrong ones, put in Iridiums that costed me $130 and had a play around with the idle, so far so good seems to be running a lot better than before.

I'm actually getting another VL in the next month or so, why the f**k not! $3k car or $10k skyline, at 19 I know whats gonna be better in the long run!

I'm interested in knowing if the death toll has dropped since implementing this law.

Well there's GAS-747 and that's owned by Paul S and the original owner of BBQ-747 is on this site and his name was Brad if that rings any bells otherwise nup unfortunately don't know anyone else even with 747 plates

Can't really say I do, I might know a mate or two of his but not Chris himself, did he have a VLT and have custom plates or something?

Most people on this forum love speed and drifting but don't mention "on the roads" in the same sentence otherwise you'll be off to a bad start on this forum

Stock as a rock original VLTs are already upping in price, saw a yellow BT1 go for 18k!

I stupidly decidedly to go through a yellow light, guy sitting in the middle of the intersection assumed I wouldn't so he started to cut across (he was turning right) and realised I was still coming so he just stopped dead in the middle of my lane, brakes on VLs not so good... Live and learn, I don't risk it with yellow lights anymore and I keep my distance because when it comes down to it, chances are your brakes aren't gonna be as good as you expect them to be. Oh and this was only a 40/50kmh hit by the time I'd braked, massive kick in the roof, whole chassis twisted.
