100% agreed. I went on an SAU cruise not long ago when I had my N/A R33, it was damp on the ground and through the Dandenong ranges I was going quicker than most of the other cars through the corners and I had stock EVERYTHING, keep in mind every other car was turbo or a GTR. Maybe it was because I knew the roads, maybe they had too much power and being damp didn't want to risk putting it to the ground. Didn't really prove anything out of that night at all.

I wouldn't suggest keeping them, I got defected for them within a few weeks of having them. Myself and another mate who has a 33 has also gotten defected for it and we never found a way to angle them down ENOUGH that their still not blinding, definitely not worth the extra light. What I can recommend is the Dual-High Beam mod, done it myself and it's awesome.

Do you mean it doesn't keep playing DVDs once she lets the handbrake down? If so all you need to do is take the ground wire from the headunit and permanently ground it to the chassis, not to the handbrake.

Well I'm not just gonna call the cops because I see a stock white skyline. What makes yours different if we don't have pics, any dents or large scratches that would be out of the ordinary? Missing boot lock? Missing centre caps? Missing badges/stickers? What makes it different that would make me look twice?

For the next thing that has an SAU logo on it, just throwing an idea out there. What about those numberplate borders that you see on most cars that have "Eastside Mitsubishi" or whatever it may be, how about make one that has skylinesaustralia on it somehow.

Yeah maybe for 5 years or more, hard to say, some spread slowly and some spread like wildfire. Why take the risk though? Why not just treat it? I'm not suggesting cut it out or anything but find some Anti-Rust from bunnings and all that and you'll be sweet.

I used Bambinator's guide and it's worked REALLY well, just need to be careful as the solder likes to fall through the points and you have to pull it apart to get the solder out. Easily changed and no mucking around with new wires. Cheers Bambinator!

I also had this exact problem with a manual turbosmart controller. I never ended up fixing it unfortunately I just went back to the stock solenoid with the permanent high boost mode and due to the fmic it constantly sits on about 9psi with no realll hesitation like I did with the manual controller. Maybe give that a go if u can't ever figure it out?

But it's also got to do with rolling diameter 15mm larger than stock also no?

Oh wow, the other day I had the car jacked up with a friends hydraulic jack, had a stand underneath it and as I went to lower it onto the stand it depressed really quickly and slammed into the stand and put a kink in the rail. Looks like I better throw the car in the bin seeing as its not structurally sound anymore!!
