Tonight at 6.10pm, all on Highbury Road. White R32 going up the hill followed by a white R33 further down the road. White R35 waiting at the lights at the corner of Highbury Road and Station Street.

Just thought I'd throw up a poll to see how everyone shifts whether it be during everyday cruising or on the track. I personally just use my ears and if I'm really going for it then ears + as soon as I JUST feel it stop pulling as hard is when I shift, that's generally anyway not always. What do you think the best sense is or whether technology/equipment is far better?

While I do agree there should be some differentiation between P Platers who have done defensive driving courses and the like to be less limited in car selection, the current rules split the idiots from the smart ones in regards to driving turbo cars such as yourself, how's your insurance.. or lack of it lulzzzzz

Yep also gotta say today with it real low in the tank, going around corner the car started to splutter and almost stall as the fuel sloshed around in the tank, don't know if that's got to do with the fuel pump not pulling enough or not but no fuel light came on thats for sure.

Not sure but $60 is roughly a full tank of 98, thats from almost redline empty to completely full. City driving to and from work, generally a 20km trip but it can be stop start traffic. I generally dont let it warm up for more than 30 seconds every startup but nor do i hammer it at all in the first 10 minutes. Doesn't take the temp gauge long at all maybe 5 minutes if that. My best mate who drives a S2 R33 N/A gets easily over 100km more a tank than me and he drives a bit quicker than me.

Exactly right which is why the camera will be used to record my actions prior to being pulled over to be used as evidence if I say not guilty, I'm well aware that u must tell them that you're recording which is what I'd say from the start, if knew I had done wrong then there's no point telling them I have a camera as I'd be guilty regardless, it's just a safety net for if they try to ping me for other things I never did which has happened to two of my good mates so far. I drive a Non Turbo skyline which other than the exhaust is legally modified so I don't have a problem with anything else. GoPro was definitely what I was thinking but other than watching MX vids of it in use I don't know much about it, I sha'll have a look cheers!

I'm getting around 350kms a full tank, somethings not right.

Hey guys, due to quite a few of my mates recently getting picked on by the police even though they drive fairly stock cars, theirs and my P Plates are kind of like a beacon to be pulled over. Just wondering if you guys know of any good in-car cameras in the $0-$200 dollar range that can be mounted inside the car that is always recording and has a fairly high image quality and also captures sound.
