  2. Dunno about luck, I never did anything stupid, quiet exhaust and stock exterior so I didn't attract any attention. Doesn't bother me anyway I don't have the car anymore and I had an exemption regardless.
  3. Not always true, I drove a VL Turbo there on Ps for a while and didn't ever get pulled over, but then again it wasn't an import with a spoiler was it

Hey guy's, Make / Model: 1988 VL SL Colour: Alpine White over MX Grey Exhaust: 2.5" system Gearbox: Stock 5 speed manual Suspension: Lovell springs on stock shocks Wheels/Tyres: 16" VE Interceptors on Kenda tyres Interior: Calais Interior Stereo: Pioneer headunit + Clarion 4" in front and 6x9 in rear, 12" Kenwood sub in Boot powered by a Pioneer Amp. Central locking + Alarm, Aircon + Powersteering. Been a very very VERY reliable car in my year of owning it, has 202,xxx km's. Few more things that I'm sure I'll remember and mention then. Also have a spare diff, vl turbo brakes and master cylinder ready to go on, original SL Interior, Original Dash Cluster and Headlights, Can also include everything needed to go back to Non Turbo. Buy some VLT Injectors and VLT computer for under $300 and wind up the boost on petrol and make 215rwkw. Car is currently tuned for Straight Gas, runs well with the turbo setup, 160rwkw for $30 a week. Will only swap for R32/R33/Silvia NON TURBO or possibly a newer commodore - willing to put cash on top also. Otherwise will be looking for $6,000. Can include plates for extra.

Car is on a straight gas tune but can be run as dual fuel if wanted. Turbo kit includes: Whole turbo setup + Gaskets + GKTech Front Mount Intercooler + Piping. Will only swap for R32/R33/Silvia or possibly a newer commodore - willing to put cash on top also. Would be looking at around $5000 with turbo conversion. PM me on here for more details or swaps.

  11. I liked it too, might show it to my father as he cannot for the life of him grasp the concept of why people spend money on their cars for no gain (resale value). Very well put together.

  18. Oh well there you go proves how much research I've done on Professional Inspections, so say I wanted a basic inspection done I'd be looking at 200-300? I'd be happy with that come to think of it.
  19. Mmm yeah you are right, I'll see if I'll even go ahead with a check beforehand if it's not already a lemon visually. Otherwise I might ask my mechanic to come out as well.
  20. True.. but $500 for an inspection is getting pretty pricey, I'm willing to pay out for certain mechanical things I just wanna make sure everything works and isn't gonna break down tomorrow and nothing dodgy is happening, I'm not after a GTR here otherwise I definitely would be.
  21. Oh this time I plan on getting an RACV inspection, but just wondering if theres anything that I dont know about that I can look at upon first inspection that'll tell me I'm wasting my time
  22. Hey guys thinking about purchasing my third car now, second skyline, if anyone remembers I was the one who bought the R33 GTS-4 that was riddled with rust. I'm now thinking about inspecting an R32 on Sunday and wondering if anyone can add me on MSN to discuss the car and anything I should look out for, I'd rather get to know some of you anyway rather than read a Wiki Guide.   23. Dont suppose you still have the R33 shell by any chance?
  24. Pretty sure you keep you're license to the conditions you were issued (if that makes sense). Like NSW L Platers can only go 80kmh max, but if a Vic L Plater came into NSW I have been taught they can do the set speed (100kmh). Dont quote me in court if it ends up that way, double check to be sure. Do you HAVE to get it changed to a VIC license? Why?

That was my exact thoughts, but now I have been told by ANOTHER bodyshop/mechanic that it will be useless and the car is far too gone, it has literally been in the drink and just too many parts to fix, for now I think we'll stick to hounding him in court. If we get nowhere, you guys know where to come to get a GTR Drivetrain and any other parts. Cheers guys, Borci88.
