  1. does anyone have a guide on the correct procedure to remove a series 2 rb25det engine from a r33 in the correct manner. i can pull an engine no problem but i just want make sure i dont run into any snags along the way. as i only have 2 days to do it. thanks
  2. that was exremely usefull thank u. ya i am chasing more power, but from what ive been told my standard ecu is shitting itself. im replacing the engine as the engine has lost compression, and my friend is buying it off me. the problem then lies that if i put a new engine in, the ecu is going to give me shit. its overfueling on standard boost and at 12psi, im regestering all 12psi so there is no boost leak but it feels like im not hitting boost at all, it drives normally, no noises or missfires. but put on a dyno it has 140rwhp. so ive lost about 60-80hp somewhere. i thought it was compression (140psi wet) pritty much even. i know its low but everyone said i still shouldnt lose that much power, as well some one on here told me that the factory computer is set to over fuel itself when dickheads just up the boost without considering the AFR. and aparantly they tend to shit themselves or that specific part of the fuel map. i dont really know im still trying to learn.

  5. everyone is telling me to get a nistune done on my 33, i know that its a computer upgrade to your standard ecu, and it unlocks more potential. what potential is that? do i need to change engine components or will it run on a stock standard engine? and most importantly is it a plug and play or do i need to take the car to a dyno to have it tuned like i would for an aftermarket ecu? any info would help. oh and how much does it cost to get done?
  6. looking for a series 2 rb25det out of a r33 needs to be complete from sump to turbo to flywheel with no more than 50,000kms on it, i will require a compression test and a mechanical certification stating that their are no mechanical faults ie. cracks in head or block. no oil leaks not missfiring etc. thank u all who can help :-) regards riley, 0458227710

  9. its actually easier to build a 26/30 than to build a 25/30 all u need to do is re-drill at tap the head stud holes in the block to make up for the larger gtr head studs, all the oil galleries and waterjackets line up, on a 25 you need to grind out the galleries and jackets to line up with the 30 block
  10. set of 4 20 gestault rims with tyres, immaculate condition, only driven about 8000kms of a 94 soarer 5x114.3 tyres are 95% tread worth about 300$ per tyre asking $4000ono with tyres will fit any nissan, toyota, ford, and i believe subaru's
  11. currently building a rb26/30 and i would like to run a apexi power fc. i believe im right when i say u dont have to run a mass airflow sensor, is there antrhing else like that i can get rid of ie, the AAC module. im trying to make the enginebay as tidy as possible so if i dont need it id like to remove it. if anyone has ne ideas it would be much appreciated, regards riley

  17. hi have a stainless steel highmount turbo manifold for a rb20 or rb25 engine. never been used comes with all adaptors gaskets and fittings. minor surface rust on manifold flanges. due to humidity in dawrin, decided to do a 26/30 conversion so now i dont have any need for them, $600.00 cheers riley

  19. hey all, currently building a rb26/30 engine for my series 2 r33 gts-t. as the engine is estimated to make aorund the 750-800rwhp im not sure what computer to use. do i use one to suit the model of the car or the engine or is there a better computer i can use? regards riley
