Had my first tune today with the new engine got 1500 klms on it so there more potential in it yet,tuner thinks the plenum is stoping it atm but very happy with the result cheers Peter

Hmmm, theres some good time's being run here looks like im gonna havta hurry up and get this car of mine to the drags and learn how to drive it all over again

I've always found that if you put it of and do it later your only paying again to have the same parts your fitting now removed again to do it later .If you have them fit the while its down will save money later and time wothout your gtr Peter

If you painted it in cold weather or cool breaze or at night without heat lamps whats happened is its bloomed only fix is to cut it back and do it again Peter

Close call last night ,went for a drive upto Taree to visit a mate and do the finial stage of running in the engine was coming back and just near nabic a damn kangaroo jumped out in front of me and the car in front Damn !!!!! quick lock up and swerved onto shoulder to avoid collision with 2 legged jumping marsupial i think it attually jumped over drivers side of the bonnet since the speed limit there is 110klms I think I was fairly lucky maybe just a few stone chips from road side gravel, the amusing part about this is I traveled that road for near 10 years twice a week between Sydney and Brisbane and never came close to hitting a roo but take my toy up there just once and our native emblem tries to write me of dont they know I just finished the damn thing would someone please tell em . works along the same princibles as an intercooler Stan ,the cooler and denser the fuel the more fuel .Have known people the run a coiled hose in a alloy container and fill it with ice at drag meets Peter

Im not being smart here just would like to know ,If it is an R34 engine wouldn't it still need the R32 igniter and cas of the original r32 as it hasn't got the r34 wiring and computer,just asking as I don't know

The running in bits the pain ,only got 270k's on mine, did first service today and of to Newcastle via the putty and back down through gosford on the old road tomorrow rough figgers gives me near another 500k's close to second service .Matt did a runin tune on mine fortnight ago .Maroun showed me your car and told me what they had done to it lot of custom work in thet manifold Peter

Cosmetically its not quite done, rear pods have to be repainted and windows tinted b4 I'll post up pics of the car would rather have it completed to the way I want it first but wont be long week or two but thanks for asking cheers Peter P.S looks much like yours execpt for wheels and rear wing

I'd have to agree with the above and just get a second hand rb20det would be by far the cheapest option if your on a budget and if you just want a performance engine rebuild your old rb20 at your leasure

Cant beleive this finished the car yesterday detailed and all ,then when I go to start putting some damn klm's on it, and it bloody rains and today . Any one got an umbrella for the car?

Hi Adam the catch can is from just jap, there for an r32 gtr, there a couple around has the site glass on the inner guard side too.I read in the drag day where you broke your drive shaft and didn't it bring back memory's .Atm I've still got gtst drive shafts in the car though I am after some gtr one's just seem to miss out when they come up and haven't looked at putting the gtr diff in as there a little longer and will have to get the tailshaft shortened. I have spare gtst diff and drive shafts ftm but will be looking at a l.5 way in the near future when I have some gtr drive shafts.Hadn't gotten around to putting anything in the black one as I wrote it of the week I broke the drive shaft. This unit is 2 years old it comes with the memory chip to hold more than 1 tune .Its tuned for an rb20det running hks cams 264 deg,550cc injectors,ported head adjustable cam gears, 3" exhaust,highflow cat,and thurmo fan control, first tune was for 8psi boost ,2nd tune was for 22psi.made 238rwkw on 2nd tune did 3 dyno tune sessions and less than 100klms b4 I changed the setup .I know this because I gave it to him it comes in originial box with all revelant manuels hasn't been used since I gave it to him so its basically still new in the box cheers Peter

E Lu-SHuN Yes, most of it is the old set up just played around with some of the colours and added a bit more braided line .Got a little bit more work to do b4 its finished and hope to have it all run in and running right for the dyno day in May . Ok guys and gals Car is 95% complete and running took it for its first run on saturday night felt good to drive it again had to make it short though cause the oil cooler has a slight leak that has to be fixed latest engine bay pick's up for you with some old pic's of what it used to look like Cheers Peter
