It's a great run - if you have the right tyres. I had the crap ones that feel like they're carved out of stone on there and it was sliding everywhere!

Don't you have spare rims mike? Maybe grab KU31s for normal driving and 123s for outings. With a 220 tread wear, you would tear through them fairly quickly.

Text McFly. He doesn't rate the RS-Rs for what you want them for. Takes too long to get hot and they suck balls when cold. If you remember our last 'outing' he had issues with them.

Didn't think that it would matter as tyres aren't always exactly the right size. Some tyres are wider than others although they are the same width. It's because they use metric, fractional and imperial measurements. Morning all!

Hey mate, You would be best off meeting the guys at Yatala BP at 8 and heading up with them. If you don't know anyone, it's better to head to a pre-meet, meet a couple of people and cruise in with them. Hope that helps.

It's not enough to throw the speedo out by a huge amount. Just found Kuhmos in the right size for $130.

Need new tyres and am considering retreads... Seriously though, finding that 215/55/R17 is not as readily available 225/45/R17 or 215/45/R17. Would it make much of a difference if I went with one of those sizes?

Cool. Just checking. You're talking GT-Rs and I'm talking about normal skylines. Didn't Noy have issues with scrubbing when he was running his 10" wheels?

I'm talking about the inside plastic guards. Most skylines would have them removed. Not talking about rolling guards or anything.
