  2. Hate to say it but I agree I think you have been fed slightly false information there, It was more a grant. If you had owned your car/van over 12 months and it was road worthy and over 10 years old. You were given 1000 pound by the government and a further 1000 min by the dealer against the purchase of a new car. But guess what the price of the car was not 2 or 3k cheaper they just added the extra on top to start with. It was such a piss take yet thousands of people thought for some reason they were getting a good deal. Shows you how stupid Britain is tbh Sorry i disagree. For example insurance is a killer in the UK compared to here. So many people run around without insurance its un real. But they think like this. So it costs them say 2k gbp to insure there car its only worth 200 quid if that. But IF AND ONLY IF they get caught its going to cost them 3 points on ther licence that half of them dont have any way and a fine of maybe 500 quid hummmmmmmmmmmmm oh hang im better off not buying/having insurance coz im better off not being law abiding. Now if the it was say a 10k fine and 5 years in prison. that would make you stand up and think even if you are slightly thicker then 95% of the already stupid British population f**k plus as an added bonus gets them off the damn road. On a side note i dont no what the law states here but you get the fundamentals I agree and dis agree The car still has to be serviced as per manufacture guide lines to maintain the warranty you dont have to take it to main dealer but you still have to have it serviced and stamped by an authorized garage. Plus there is a lot of money to be made in warranty work
  3. lol i had to get my girlfriend to read you reply because i was confused. but yeah its has alot to do with the insurance premium tax it goes up every year rapping us for more and more money
  4. Have you tried to insure a car over 1.2 in the uk at 17???? ps we don't have p platers either Also it not about the cost of the car or what its worth its the risk YOU are driving THAT car and the liability you may or may not be
  5. lol at this thread @ Who and what p platers can drive what when and how Try JUST insuring anything over a 1.2lt in the first 5 years of driving in the UK and it will set you back over $4k in most cases v6, v8 you can forget turbo car no chance, there laugh in your face even when you reach the magic 25/30 year old or full n/c discount your still looking at nigh on the same for a turbo car per year!!!! not to mention the road tax every 6 months or yearly however you wish to pay it and your MOT every year thats bound to throw up something wrong with your car!!!!! that your have to get fix to keep everything in order. What im trying to say is i wish i had the chance to drive just a n/a Skyline at 17 18 19 or even a v6 or just something over 1.2 P platers dont no how lucky you are tbh just my 2 cents and some tax
  6. Have done this in Britain. With a un marked police car at 3 am. lucky it ended all good as the actions i took were seen as being reasonable
  7. Cool thanks for that I was doing just that and the prices were like only + or - 20 bucks so thought i ask just in case i missed a trick
  8. Question sorry Can any one recommend a place Thank you

  10. Yeah i just got my driving licence switched over The new security measures make you laugh though We will send it through the post!!! lol Where any one of 100s of people can intercept it now hummmmmmmm not hard to work out what it is with vic roads written all over it der!!! who's bright idea was that????
  11. Only read the first post. But I have to say: There are a lot of "young" we call them chavs that think that when it rains for example its fun to go sideways. WOOW my thoughts are tool of the week. drive the car properly u cock leave the sideways bit for the track Yes, great you have a rear wheel drive car and you can go side ways and the point is??????? Just take a trip down the road and the amount of elevens's on the road is un real listen carefully and you can hear the chav in distance most nights too To combat this the insurance companies could always charge the young or new drivers a stupid amount to insure anything over a 1.5lt car or truck like they do in England we are talking $5k $6k a year to insure a 206 gti or Astra cope in the first year yeap thats how much it costs. You wanna pay less get a more insurance friendly car or wait till your older with more experience
  12. i've run 12 psi for the last three years no problems
  13. Yes the stock R33 ECU can be mapped Generic stage one is around $500 all in plug and play Custom maps are more expensive.

  15. I have a fujitsubo legalis r on my r33 very well made great sound very quite BUT expensive or they are in Britain over $2000
  16. Ok its in the U.K. but Nissan wanted silly money for this gasket when I needed to do mine. I actually paid half this for the same one @ 9.99 about $17.50 delivered. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/R33-Skyline-GTS-T-Ge...0#ht_2189wt_939
  17. You can plumb in some electronic boost controllers to retain stock 2 stage set up. I found this out more by mistake when I had my AVCR plumbed in. Stock first stage boost and second stage .85 bar. I have been running high boost all the time for the last 3 or so years at .85 with stock inter cooler and no remap with no problems. Some like it some dont it appears i was lucky but on the whole the rb engine responds very well too stage on mods look below!!!
  18. As per title please or places you recommend to buy from Many thanks oh its a spec 2 engine and 300 bhp tune if that is any help
  19. Thats cool I still have a stock exhaust (somewhere that I can put back on even do comparisons as i'm pritty sure the after market one is quieter still) and can get part numbers easy enough so that, with the engineers report/rwc should make a very interesting court case. It comes as no surprise we have similar problems back home sometimes.
